Went through to complete this online and received an error which told me to ring Sky. I was on hold for 40 minutes before speaking to someone to check that the order went through. The lady had no idea about this offer and said I had to choose either the free Sky+ box OR £50 of vouchers. She then went to contact the sales dept. And my cordless phone bleeped and died.

Came back to order it online and it won't submit, it just keeps refreshing the confirm my details page. Just going to try IE before giving up.

This is eaxctly what I had - and hopefully MSE will put this right - glad I am nnot the only one then having problems here - see my thread which I think is "Free Sky+box and free £50-00 MS Vouchers - Its a scam...........I am hoping that MSE puts this right as they are still showing this as a valid offer on the home page despite my requests to move it as SKY clearly have NO intention of honouring this deal.

    Thanks

    James

    Newshound!
I must be one of the lucky ones, I got my M & S vouchers about 2 weeks after installation then a month later got another £50, great for me but obviously someone is not organizing this very well.
  • I've just tried to get the free Sky+ box online and because I'm an existing customer it didn't complete and told me to call 08442 411 268. When I did I spoke to someone who said he knew nothing about a deal Sky were doing via Martin Lewis' MoneySaving website!!!!! To be honest I wasn't surprised. As so many people have already said Sky to nothing for existing customers. After wasting over 20mins on the phone to them (and paying for the call!!) I gave up. The best and I think the only way to get anything out of Sky if you are an existing customer is to say you want to cancel, that's the only department that seem to want to help/please existing customers.

I have had no problems so far with this deal. The engineer is coming out tomorrow to install, my order confirmation shows both "free sky+" and "free £50 M&S vouchers" and I received my Sky card and associated literature yesterday (which is shocking because the postman only comes on a Saturday once in a blue moon out here in the sticks!). I did not take either the bb or the phone with this deal.

Replied via PM, but for the purposes of keeping info in this thread - the email came within an hour, there was not a reference number on it (sorry for mis-info - I just checked it!). I applied online and was, at no time, requested to call Sky - everything went through fine.

I've just checked and I printed out the order confirmation online at 11.16am and the email is timed 11.14am - so pretty instant! There was no reference number on the first email, but there was on the second I received 2 days later reminding me of the installation date.

Remember, it's always worth checking out the deals direct from sky through their Quidco link before clicking on the link at the beginning of these thread. ;) Always remember to clear cookies before clicking on Quidco links though ;)

This was better than any deal I saw on sky.com last week though
