I'm an excellent reverser - do it by ear. When I hear a little clunk I know I've reversed far enough.

Similar to me only I park by touch, if the car touches anything I know I've reversed too far :D

I've a feeling this thread is gonna run and run

(which is more than can be said for the Mondeo)
Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree! :D
  • For Sale, serious bidders only.
1 x used Domino's pizza box, used, bit greasy, sold as seen, click buy it now a bargain at 1 euro :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

NB Potential buyers, remember to check for chips ;) when you collect as the seller might have tried to cover them up with dirt.

OP, I appreciate that you may well be a wee bit peed off, but I reckon you're treading on dangerous territory with some of the accusations that you're throwing around - eg about them knowingly selling a car that could kill a child. The way things are going, the seller (or their mother, as that appears to be the person posting on here) is coming out with a heck of a lot more credit for maintaining a dignified silence recently. As was pointed out in a previous post, if you are genuinely pusruing/think it's likely that TS will legally pursue this, you may wish to stop now as public accusations may well not work in your favour.

At the end of the day, it seems to boil down to an unfortunate sale, probably a good part caused by the naivety - no offence - of the buyer. It would seem the ad was above board, a test drive/inspection was carried out, a discount offered yet this mess still ensues. To me it looks like both posters came on here genuinely looking for help, it certainly doesn't appear to me that the seller was trying to "do" anyone - why the heck would they post as they did otherwise?? I don't know too many con merchants who then go on a public forum whining when someone catches them out...

Don't get me wrong, I do have sympathy - for the money loss and the obvious stress - but personally my anger may well be directed to someone else if I was you...

Well, if they don't want to reveal all, we'll just have to do our own speculation. Any ideas?
