Nice to have a balanced view on this thread.
Very polarised though.
And to move away from the car this thread was about, I would love to see a decision made by a court that gives private car buyers the protection that is deserved. I must admit I'm fed up of responses here advocated by many saying hard luck, you haven't spotted the fault, save up your hard earned cash for another rip-off.
Equally if the buyer tries it on, let’s have a final independent decision,
loser pays the costs for both.
