I actually stopped using it as I wasn't sure whether it was causing me to have prolonged periods. On reflection, I don't think it could have been, as I'm now back to both prolonged and excruciating periods! Been using mine on and off almost continually due to the fact that I was also getting awful mid-cycle pain. Period is now over 2 weeks overdue...........................Help!

Actually, joking aside, it does say you're not supposed to use them if you're trying to conceive or think you may be pregnant, so maybe you had better check!
