did you order by phone? I tried but couldnt get through, which is why I ordered from Boots in the end. I think I will get one for daughter - cant believe how well it works.

Oh. Now I am confused. I couldnt see it online so I emailed them and they told me I had to ring to order it. When I tried to ring they were permanently engaged. I've just looked on their site again and I still cant see it. Tried the "search" as well - how do I get to it please?

Hi all
Some Period pains are caused by using tampons Some sort fo muscle tension thing specially if hte pains are in the back (sciatic area) where the two dimples are, just above your bum, in your back when you lie down - I dunno if there's scientific evidence to back this up, but my Aunti Kat suggested that I don't use tampons for the first day at least and I found that I have 'no pain' periods now.

Hi all! I saw one these magnets (it was about a year ago - I forget the brand name) in my local chemist. As it was £15 and a lot of money to waste if it didn't work, I asked the pharmacist if it would be effective. She was very sceptical. She said it was a magnet and therefore how could it possibly work to aid pain relief? So I told a friend who needs help with pain. She strapped one of her kiddies large toy magnets onto her tummy to test the theory (for free) and... it made no difference! And nor do the heat pads from Boots! I'm really delighted to see that it works for some women - if men had period pain there'd be a cure by now! But I'm really interested to know HOW does it work? Anyone any ideas?

I have no idea HOW it works, I'm just glad it does! It also works for my daughter which is why I wanted another one.

It does have to be a certain strength of magnet which is why a toy one probably wouldnt work. It is so strong that I have to be careful at work - when I get too close to the metal drawers the magnet sticks to them :rotfl:

btw, you have to put Lady Care into the Avon site - NOT Ladycare!
