Well i know i have said it before, but that book 'the allotted time' is brill, I rush home from work, make a cuppa, then go straight in the bath to read a bit more ( only preace and quiet i get to do proper reading..lol..).

So i really do recommend reading it...

Think i will buy some seed potatoes..( was going to just chit the ones at the bottom of my sack of spuds:cool:) I normally just put them in large plastic dustbins with drainage holes in the bottom, so if something happens at least it wouldnt be in my garden....but i might put spuds in the ground again this year... so will buy some this weekend...

They have given it cold for the weekend.....

I love reading in the bath. Friends dread loaning me books as they come back wrinkled. I do try not to let them get that way.

Right, I'll admit it's not as nice as I remember it, but here's that poppy I referred to last night:

I shot the piccie in the garden of a (reasonably:o) famous artist in 2007, so it must be OK! :D

    Oh, i love it.

I love them all. Poppies of all sorts have to rank up there with the most loved flowes of all. They are so charming. Unbelievble the wars that wage over such a cheerful creature.
  • I don't know if the NFED could be any help, alfie - you probably already know of it.
Here's their link to the, hopefully, relevant section. Breaking & training is top of right hand column.

I love poppies, we always have some come up as weeds in the garden that I let stay, even in the veggie bit :D

The only problem with them, is that the flowers hardly last any time at all.

I presume ours are all opium poppies, we get all different colours.
