Agreed. Small scale (in size & number) can be OK. Preferably not in Areas of Outstanding Beauty, too.
They still won't have the consistency of tidal power, though. We'd been in a real pickle if the day came when our tides stopped going in & out about twice a day ;)

    hi all.........
i quite like wind turbines... i do not pretend to know the logistics BUT when you think of all that goes with the power plants we DO have its a bit sad/proving impossible to continue to sustain these methods... my friends live on the coast in the southern part of holland and i walked the coast line with the most amazing turbines turning in a very majestic way. obviously i can only comment on those !! but the noise was [to me] like the wind in trees, a soft rustling noise. i was quite entranced by them and if i was given a choice of a smoke puffing building against a turbine "on my doorstep " i know which id choose...

anyway..davesnaves enthusiasm with his panto has guilt tripped me into getting my arsee in gear !! so dress sowing tonite...

i have a lot of watchers on my ebay items ...but that means zip unless they buy !!

the weather is very mild today, not quite sunny but almost !
i had the farrier today and asked him re someone doing the schooling etc of ruby. he burst out laughing and said "youve gotta catch the bl**dy thing 1st gal "....... stating the obvious !! he is very impressed with her tho, he thinks shes one of the nicest looking coloureds he's seen for a long time.... thats my girl !!
seems so strange not having barney in the que for his sevices tho............

LIR...... my snowballs are now experts at putting themselves to bed now. they will NOT go in with the others so i just leave their coup open all day and in they go. its funny watching them pecking about. they stick together like glue so just a big white blob can be seen !

Yes, below freezing here at night by then, too :( Hopefully no snow, though.
