Davesnave, Rozee, hope the litter problems resolves, well done Alfie!
Anyhow time for another challenge. And for once maybe useful to those of you wanting to maximise profit from your cows after slaughter.
What is this? Do you blow on this? (missing a mouthpiece?) Is it a wind instrument?? Cow horn trumpet? Shafor? Help!!
Wild guess, is it an erkencho (clarinet family so has a reed)?0 -

is there anything i dont have in my hamster like hoarding home....:o
News here. I've got hold of a massive pile of wood (for a price) I have someone with a chainsaw (mine is still on floor of garage in bits, I can hardly even remember what's wrong with it now) and we're almost ready to go.
Once I can get rid of the rug rats in daylight for a couple of hours, there are a couple of small trees which are down on common land I know is OK to take wood from. So if they are still there.... mine!
The chicken run still isn't put up, alot of snow out there atm, reminder to self, check to see if you have enough creocote.
Still deciding which chickens to have and trying to find a decent supplier. This is the problem living in a non typical smallholders area, almost no breeders around here. And no decent ones I've yet found very local.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
Snow....sigh. Its welcome that its milder here today, no messing with the woodburner, but oh its grimly wet. The rain is pelting down. The geese weren't in the pond this evening when i went to call them, instead they were just sitting in the wet field. Didn't hwlp we had a trough overflow on sunday. The geese probably think we are turning the whole place into geese paradise....lol0
