i took his number after he stormed off and gave it to the police for fly tipping...... iv seen him around since and im sure he recognises me....
But it's 'only' a civil offence.
The lady from the police was very happy that I'd gone through the Electoral Roll for her and drawn a blank, so she said she'd just liaise with Environmental Services.
I just wanted it logged. I don't think it was the owner of the rubbish that did it. I have other ideas.

I would be telling owner of rubbish too. Doubt they will be thrilled to have had their receipts read and risk being blamed by the problem person either.0

I'm in the process of finding out if she's recently moved into the barn complex. That's my best guess for an adult not on the Electoral Roll yet.
That's why I have logged this with the police. There's method in my madness!

Poor soul, what a welcome to the area. But do hoe she has so that you can easily find her. I am sure diplomacy and getting her, and others in the barn complex on side will help.0 -

There's someone who's had their cage rattled again just recently.
Say no more.

Hey! We have some of that! There's a track that runs down the back of our woodland (the bit that isn't fenced and has a bit of an unclear boundary) and someone's been dumping garden waste down it. All the neighbours we've spoken to name the alleged perpetrator as another local neighbour. Why would he do that?!? It doesn't make any sense.
Anyway, once we move onto the land we hope to be able to supervise things a bit better. Certainly all the other neighbours don't seem that inconsiderately inclined. The joys of rural living, eh? But there's always one, wherever you live.
I loved alfie's description of the assault on the Porche driver. Fantastic and fearless. Bravo!
I'm very excited about the eggs and teh chickens and eggs. I'm going to investigate breeds now. I think we'll only get two or three hens initially. I'm gonna have to eat the cockerels aren't I......?0 -
More advice...poor rozee...we all keep giving you advice...get three, or five. Never buy in twos at first, because if something happens to one hen, the other is lonely. Odd numbers seem to mean fewer squabbles. Once you have more than five though, it doesn't really matter how many more. If you want three, get one of each breed on you top three list. See how you get on with them.rozeepozee wrote: »Hey! We have some of that! Don"t calm down, its one of the best bits. Think about your housing and paddock though. If you are very wet, a fuzzy breed won't be quite as happy. If they have some hard standing they'll be fine i should think. Same with my cochins, they coped in the orchRd when we kept the grss down, they much prefered having the choice of the yard when we moved.0
