You know more. About geese than me! I am worried about foxes, so think they need something lockable though, what do you think?

Cleaning out will be ok, i will ask dh to do it :rotfl::rotfl:. Lino then straw, then the straw should slide out on a pitch fork easily ish.

If you think that will work then yes please! I will not take advantage of a friend, so please set a price with the vet bill in mind!:D

RozeePozee= car boot addict. Before I left Sheffield, I set up and ran this thread http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=770645&highlight=car+boot+megathread. It was a way of me know ing every local car boot and some, so I thought I may as well share.

I do miss my Sunday mornings as I love a bargain and I never needed to buy anything new for the children. I'd usually set myself a budget of "only" £10 to spend. However, because things are sooooo cheap, we ended up with way too much of everything. There's nothing like the extent of sales round here - obviously, there's much fewer people and I think because there's more of a community, things get passed onto others, recycled more. Car booting taught me the value of things. I can't buy new stuff very often these days as I know if I looked long enough for it, I'd be able to get one at the car boot sale for under a quid. I must have saved literally thousands of pounds when I look at what things cost in the shops to buy new.

Sad as it may seem , I'm looking forward to a trip to the Peaks in the summer so I can get to some of the more decent car boots and stock up on clothes & shoes for the kids!

Ho hum, doing some number crunching.

Playing around with gross and net profit percentages :(

Can DW afford to give up her part time job to join me in playing around buying and selling collectables?

Not really but to hell with it, you only live once :D

I still have marmalade my mother made last year. My mother likes hers thick cut and dark, i prefer mine fine cut and lighter most of the time, though sometimes nothing but dark dark bitter will do.

But the taste preference might be why we still have some left :o. So no marmalade making for me this year.

I have never made marmalade as I am not a fan of it but I am hoping to make some sort of jam this year :D
