  • Sorry, thought CTC was referring to the ordinary electric fencing. Yes, meshing may work.
How do you get around the earthing problem on permanent mesh fencing, alfie?

www.greatgardenproducts.co.uk/ you have probably compared all available ....:)

I looked at these and the prices looked reasonable but they charge an extra £19 for the second shelf

it was put in [a large area] with the bottom being approx 2-3 inches from the ground.you need pleny of poles. we [gardener] strims if grass gets too long but even when grass is on base it doesnt alter the current. easier to erect in smaller area and less battery use.

Don't the foxes dig under? Darned things can dig like terriers around here once they know dinner is on the other side :(
Mind you, they're easier to fix than mink. Grrrr.

Morning all. Still not managed to plant out the raspberries may get to do it this weekend. We've had a couple of days of hard frosts but its gone milder again. OH phoned up the potential house seller this week as we've decided not to go for it. The house was gorgeous but spending that amount of money was going to be too much for us. Really had to think with our heads.

Had a great night last night as we took DS1 to see Billy Connolly, it was part of his Christmas present and it did need OH and me to go as well! He was good but a couple of the stories I'd heard before, when we last saw him. Off to make a brew.

Sigh, one of the ferals, the one i called the gambia, was dead this morning. Poor wee thing. I had been trying to catch her to be pts bhut still, its v. Sad. Dh and i are going out today and now have red faces from tears.
  • LIR i am so, so sorry, i bloooody hate it when this happens...

Lucielle. I love Billy Connally, my mother had loads of his Albums in the 70's ( before videos etc)

I dont know why we stopped putting the dog poo around the chicken run? when the kids where small, they ( along will hubby) used to pee around the chicken fence, they used to think it was funny getting their winkies out and weeing outside...

Hubby sat in our caravan with is right infront of the chicken run, but there were kids across the road in the layby sp? so there was no sign of the fox last night ( well at the about the same time that it happened the night before)

Maybe i will just have to hurry up and find some money to move:rotfl: but then i am sure i would come across mr fox's cousin

Edit... i think there is a free listing this weekend on fleabay
