Bored with doing our tax stuff, so here's an interesting one:

I've never seen one of these for sale as a going concern, though I note that the agent (them again!) says it has been "lucrative." I wonder why it is lying idle at the moment then? ;)

It sounds like chipping away is all you can do, alfie. Has it actually damaged the skin?

Sounds like you have horror stories to tell of a certain EA, Dave. It wasn't their Barnstabubble branch was it?
:D - First time I've seen a wormery for sale, too.

It was the branch in the place 12 miles east of Barneyrubble which tried to have us gazumped. They didn't like our cool negotiating stance, which was basically, "Here's a cash offer and we are not going to increase it.:p"

There were special circumstances, besides the vendor's moral code, which made it difficult for her to go with the gazumper, but I can't go into that here. Anyway, she didn't. :D

But that little dog looks like it's having a fab time.

Hope you've got some good moisturiser ready for your hands.

    The short answer is 'No.'

The next door neighbour has been breaking hers for donkey's years, and the two properties were built at the same time for the same purpose, now long defunct, but hers has no land.

Do you think it would be worth pursuing at this stage? :)

I think it would be worth seeing what you can find out for free. Imagine what your place might make as a 'we have ponies' house, which it has the barn and stables for.

Well, things look very odd in the garden this evening. We have one big red rose bud. Two snap dragons are flowering just a little, but still...flowering at all in January is odd. There is a campanula with a couple of flowers on to. Osteopermum still going. Tulips starting to come out. Snowdrops sparkling here and there. I haven ,t checked where I put crocus last year, but the grass has grown up despite a late cut, so if we are to see the will need to trim the grass...how weird is that?

Also, I just noticed a tiny baby flower spike starting on the lilacs. They have stayed in bud Since autumn, as if they were going to burst straight back into leaf.

How much winter do we need for fruit RAS? According to the thermometer we were only above zero for a few hours to day, and it's five in the kitchen now. And I am about to wash my hair.....madness.
