what a night !!!:eek:

i have been picking up branches all over the place, i lost/shifted a few roof tiles,greenhouse had one payne broken, canvas over straw gone ?? but chimneys appear sound....so far...;)

ive had my tooth half done...had the nerve taken out and back friday to have it filled [its got some drainage plug thing in at mo]...but its PAIN FREE...:j
we are in the throws of a repeat of last night by the look of things...i got onto HIGHWAYS today to report the dodgy trees... @ 3.30pm. man was on my doorstep @ 4.30pm ...:) he said it may be down to the "estate" rather than them but would be back tomorow morning to have a good look with a tree man... BUT i made him a nice cup of tea and a choccy biscuit and he perused my animogs and said "i will see if we can sort it tomorow for you, we dont want your animals getting hurt "...:D so fingers crossed i could end up with no dodgy trees AND a good stack of logs ...:D:D

hope everyone else is safe ? i think it is all being funneled down the country to my house....:rotfl:

Things are still rumbling around. We've just had 2 mini power cuts. The first was accompanied by the most enormous clap of thunder (came with no warning) & torrential hail. I'm really glad I wasn't outside. That would have hurt like hell
I'm not going to do the rounds of re-setting all the clocks - heating, cooker, phones, DVD players etc. because usually I just get it finished & there's another !!!!!! power cut :rotfl:

Good to know you're OK alfie! As you don't normally post in the daytime, I guessed you would be, but all the same....

I don't think the weather's personal, but it's felt like it, as every time I've wanted something from the barn it's hammered down. We've had a bit of everything today, including the white stuff...... but the chicken shed came on time and it's indoors, in the dry, where I can treat it to plenty of preservative.

I won't be putting that up for a while though, and judging by the weight of the panels, I shall need my 3 Weetabix when I do!

It's been a funny ol' day here. Started early this morning with torrential hail, causing a crash on the M4 by us.

Let the chickens out and they weren't sure what to make of the hailstones, but they seemed to enjoy eating them.

Then the weather was hail or rain with brief spells of blue sky and sunshine (and a rainbow) and thunder and lightning which made the dog bark. Oh, and really strong wind too.

Glad to hear everybody's ok.

i feel like im at the bottom of the country with a massive tennis racket volly'ing back the weather as it hits at me ! thus as i always was a cr*p shot it is going back in every direction...:D
