Oh no! If you need to stash critters here yell.

If the estate don't remove the trees can you? can you use them?
  • It does seem the South coast is taking the brunt of it at the moment, alfie, & the forecast has it going on for a while yet :(
    Stay safe.

just tried to put the dogs out for a piddle. Its not uncommon for dog-dog to say the weather is not to her liking, but I've only seen Big-dog turn straight back in once before!

i cant remove trees myself as its too close to the road....road would be shut and they are 25ft+ its only the neighbouring trees/ivy that is supporting them for now !! i am worried if they do come down [saying that iv got about 20 others that could decide to crash too !] its my owl and bubs enclosures that are in the line of firefrom one of em !!

anyway no good worrying till /if it happens.....

thanks for the offer tho...my lot would totally mistify/scare the sh*t your poor dogs etc ...hehehe

  • Talking of which. How do you find your horses get on with pigs. Ours were fine, possibly because they were all raised together, but horses coming up the lane were definitely less than enamoured of passing pigs. I always worked on the theory that it was because they sensed an animal that was quite capable of eating them. :)

IME its all about association. If we buy a foal again I'll be talking to the alpaca people up the road (hae a horse with alpaca fear is getting more and more dangerous) and would even cinsider buying those kunes :)

same ith donkeys. I always get anxiou at Royal bath and west as they alway have the first ridden clses at the same time as inhand donkeys in the next ring. Ponies who've nevr een them and ar usually relaible first riddens go buckaroobananas. especially when they also have that man who flies around with his honking geese jut above.
