Trip switches have been going wild for past 24 hours, and the lightning strike that blew out our phone connection was a bit hairy, twice yesterday we had strikes so close the house shook .

So nice BT man was here for 2 hours and has just left after replacing the master socket. Phone is burnt out as well. Not having broadband and phone for 24 hours isnt the end of the world, but when you've got ebay auctions finishing, couriers to arrange (one to Italy), messages hitting an unresponsive wall, its a bit of a hassle  So have had two sessions down at the library and just about back on track.
  • Buy some of those little plug in circuit breakers (like you use for garden equipment) & plug your laptop/PC etc. into them. A few years ago we had a strike which travelled through the electric & phone lines & blew up things like the answerphone. Since buying the breakers any problems have stopped at the socket. :)

It's getting darker & darker as I type. Another bout of something is on it's way. :(

Can you get haressed weed stuff? Woman's at all? Like gold dust down here. Keep trying the charity shops. In fact, barely find any men's at all.

really cross about the (person - add expletive of you choice) who bought up the industry and ruined it.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
