:rotfl: Looks like the one on the right may have been a bit of a strain for the poor gal. I can almost imagine the look of concentration on her face0

wow!
I'm really loving my sicilian butercup eggs, tiny, but perfect fpr picnics or tiny children or delicate poached eggs. I'm hardly getting any eggs still, god knows where they are laying and if I'm late collecting they ruddy eat them (none use the roll away nest box yet). But I must deal with the issue.0 -

Not yet, though I suppose I should do. I've had egg problmes (first time thi year) since early summer, but they laid through all last winter (contrarians!).
The chooks, geese and peacocks, all live in one house ATM, o I need to let the geese and peas out early, but start keeping the chooks in an hour or two I think (easier said than done..).
also I have two boys in there (not ideal but the young one is gorgeous and if he weren't a hybrid I'd certainly be using him: beautiful beautiful quality) so have to get at least one of them out early so they don't bicker (will have to make a decison about what to do with him before spring, as I think we'll have WW3 here otherwise!).0 -

Sorry that you have to take that decision, Rhiwfield. It's one that's fallen to me a couple of times, but I can honestly say is that those were much kinder than the random decisions Mother nature sometimes took herself.
DD2 had the same choice twice last year. She recently told me, "I'm OK with that now. I can think about it without crying." We have shrubs planted where her ferrets were buried, and each flowers around the anniversary of their passing, or at least they should do, but one fell foul of someone daydreaming while using a brushcutter.0 -
is there a "condition" where one [capped] tooth hurt and now the whole upper and lower left side of my teeth are KILLING ME !!?? :mad:0
