Someone may try & get planning permission for more houses - possibly?

We had to put a road in - well track as it isn't made up & yes, it costs & we had the sand on site so didn't need that hauling here so we were lucky but it is doable if you hive bits of ground off I suppose. Could be a developer who'se bought?

Well listening to the weather forecast & hearing how you folks are having Summer grrrrrr as the caravn is billowing about & you can't see up the Loch for curtains of rain - makes us want to run off to the East & cough all over them there........

Summer was last week here ;) I have a tan line on my feet wherer trousers ended and shoes didn't reach to and the back of dh'sneck and his back from when he was topless is brown. Today its cool, very blustery and damp. Not very nice, I've lit the wood burner.

My muscular chest has a wonderful tan after the week or two of wonderful sunshine and my wife has a brilliant thong bikini tan lines*

It has been nice though, almost a mini summer, I've certainly been glad I don't live up in Scotland for the last few months. Whereas normally I'd love to live up there, what with all the space and freedom.

Please could it stay nice for another week or so, as my plum trees have just started to blossom.

How does a mouse take bait from an old fashioned trap (twice) and not set off the trap? This is what I am puzzling this morning.
Trap springs perfectly when I try it and the bait was pressed down hard on the wire.

I think the mice must have been having lessons from the moles, none being caught after the first one, yet all traps being sprung each night, by dirt being pushed into them.

We have blown off blossom thundering around the garden like snow ATM. I could spit. In fact I think I shall. Though it is very pretty while it whirls around the air its stripping the trees bare. :( The daffs.such as they are, have been flattened and the stems broken n the winds too. And the rain gets precious little chance to do any good when whsked back into the atmosphere by these winds.

Well we went over to the east coast & it was 23oC over there - weird or what, lucky to get that in August.
came back & it's blowing a gale still & really wet so we missed nuffink weather wise - always feelless guilty if it's been disgusting to do much outdoors if we go off on a jolly;-)

Really had a good day away - like tourists we were - great not to rush & heave sacks of feed into the boot & dash home.
We have snow forecast for tonight - too mild I think......I hope not as we'll be rioting in the streets & demanding a reduction in our council tax. It's not cricket.

PM'd a link to the (not very) big thing. My job is sweeping, getting things and participants presentable as possible and making tea I think.
