it is glorious weather here....sorry !

im off to do battle no doubt with the market stall fruit/veg man later !! i have gone through all the right channels in the council and have thier full permission to take what i want for MABEL..... shes getting well known around here !! the horrible little man will probably get shirty but i will feel a tad smug telling him to "get over it" !!!! not sure what his problem is ....but its not mine...hehehe !!

i didnt get to my mates last night, got watching comic relief when another friend called by. so im going tonite for our ritual try on... trouble is iv had to discount a bag of expensive [hardly/never worn] jeans as i know i cant get em on !! and get depressed trying !!
hope you all have a good day anyway,
iv booked a 3.5 ton van and am assured the wagon will fit even if the wheels have to come off so thats sorted.....

Hi Alfie - I'll give them a few days & then see what they say.

I like things to run smooth as it gets draggy. Off out to the crambed shed to see if there's owt else I can slide out & list. Found a load of mouldy clothes the other day - Yuck. I ws annoyed at having to through them away - hate throwing owt out!
whats your ebay name? may be of interest to me !! PM me ??

We went up to the house yesterday, taking new camera (old one was nicked when OH left it on the doorstep - long story), mostly to take photos of the newly installed vinyl. But I did get a couple of garden snaps that I thought I'd share.

I'm impressed with the camera, as even managed to get a shot of the moon, I know it's a bit fuzzy, but this was hand held. If the clouds hold off this evening I think I'll try and find the tripod and get the full moon.

I really hoped that we could get to the house today and mow the lawn, but OH has the lurgy so we're having a lazy day instead. Hopefully tomorrow! Will prob spend some time looking at seed and plant offers... But really I've got more than we know what to do with already! :rotfl: Nice just to browse though!

    Stunning Maggie - wonderful.
We had a terrific moon here last night, but what a ring it had round it - but so clear.
Hop OH feels better soon - well must go venture into the shed's bowels...........
  • To cut a long story short 4 years ago i bought a plum tree for woolworths, it was nothing more than a wee stick, but i have cared for it happerly since then. But now im beging to wonder what it is :rotfl::rotfl:

How strange, I don't even think that quince rootstocks are used for plums :D Although they might have been I suppose. Dave might know.
