actually if you have the receipt then you get full refund ie £50. if you dont , have you got a visa/bank statement to prove you bought them? when i had my shop i had all the "regs" and im surprised m&s dont honor it !! there is not a set time limit...just a reasonable time...circumstances permitting. my advice is try again or complain up high.... id be well miffed too...good luck

Alas, no more. Two members of my family have worked for M&S, but things have changed since then. Now, you get a month to return and get a refund at the price you paid, even with a receipt. Thing is, when we live out here, it's often months between visits to Exeter.

But yes, we might complain. Complaining costs nowt.....and we are shareholders! :rotfl:

Pete came up and spread fertilizer this pm. He seems well-pleased with the fields and the condition of the sheep that overwintered here. He isn't pleased about fertilizer costs or the prices being paid for pork and beef just now. He's not one to moan, but like everyone, I think he's feeling the pinch.

Well it snowed hard so we didn't go where we were supposed to as it was starting to lie on the roads really fast.

Petrol 150.9p @ Litre at Gairloch.

Sold something heavy on ebay - had up P&P for UK only. Turns out this person is in Holland - will cost a massive amount topost there. I don't want bad feedback but I envisage hassle. Relly huge moon with massive ring round it & clear sky - very cold. Still not got any gardening done.

Hi CTC - The postage will cost £70+ which is just unbelievable - it's an old eiderdown.

    Emailed them but no reply.

Our fuel prices are crippling everyone here as we are in the middle of no where - every one has to travel here. They are talking of reductions in the islands but they don't do the travelling we have to do.

It's free listing w/e on ebay so that'll be me. It's really windy here today & bitter wind but really bright - good for taking photies!

might be worth emailing them telling them they have x time to pay, otherwise you will mark them as a non-payer and then sell to the second highest bidder.... they should have emailed you first to see if you would send abroad..

The hike in fuel prices is really scarey... as it has so much of a knock on effect with everything....

Havent long come back from homebase.. flip it was like a circus:rotfl:... I think the good weather has brought loads of wannabe gardeners out too...I hate it when people just idolly stroll around, in limbo-land, not really knowing what they want to buy:mad: ( lol but i am normally like this in the supermarket:p)

I was totally gobmacked they were selling little trays of radish, carrots, surely they can not be value for money ( radishes) and the carrots hate being disturbed dont they?

didnt really get what i wanted, but what i have bought will do, got just over £100 left on the cashback vouchers...

I've been selling relatively cheap things (99p) stuff until lately. I've emailed them so will wait & see.

Haven't been in Homebase for ages - scared to look at house stuff just yet.
I always plant carrots direct & radishes. I think with carrots you can plant them in a halved pipe/guttering thing & sort of pour them onto the soil - don't think they do transplant well. Don't see the point of growing them in seedtrays - chuck em in dirt. I interplant with onions - 'sposed to deter fly - doesn't work though but still do it - traditional!

The caravan looks like a charity shop exploded all in it - taking me foties for free listing. This is addictive.
Nasty bitter showers out side now - so don't feel as guilty being in.

If you indicated P&P for the UK only, then any purchaser from the Netherlands should know they are going to have to pay the full P&P for the EU, or lose the goods.

Wish the weather was better for you.

Thanks RAS - It's bright so that's good & it's stopped sleeting it down.

Yesterday I was amazed at how quick the road was going white when we set out of Gairloch - mind you it's qute a climb up.

I just emailed the person with a bill - the Postage comes to £78 - I bet that gets a response!

Hi Alfie - I'll give them a few days & then see what they say.

I like things to run smooth as it gets draggy. Off out to the crambed shed to see if there's owt else I can slide out & list. Found a load of mouldy clothes the other day - Yuck. I ws annoyed at having to through them away - hate throwing owt out!
