In someways its useful. I can send a street view pic to people coming here so they know they have the right place. Davesnave could find his way round my yard I bet ;) and can probably id my kitchen, sitting room, drawing room and bedrooms.

we would consider getting grey'dout though. Its possible I believe.

Err.....yes, the yard anyway. I wouldn't say the rest, though I did have a look at the roof ()

Surely if you grey out (and I've only noticed it once) you draw more attention to the place and make people wonder what you have there that's so precious?

Another six inches of snow last night, maybe a bit more this morning. Hill exit road currently impassable, everything above ground level is wearing a big hat of snow. No real hassle, plenty of food and warmth, its just very inconvenient.

Amazon has just e-mailed to say a package may be delayed, its for DS1 when he comes back from NZ in Jan so no probs there either.

Shovelled a path to the hens who dont seem to like the snow much, huddling inside instead. Caught the blue pecking the maran so have to stop the bullying. May try separation again.

Apples in store mostly surviving well, though we're on last batch of eaters. And I think we need to give some of our jam away, must have two years supply left!

BTW solar panels dont work with a snow covering :(

we had alot more snow last night too....

we suposed to be open in work this morning, but we are not going to bother...

hubby is going to take youngest to work, he has got a little saturday job in swansea, only for 4 hours, he doesnt get paid, but its all work and experience for him, as he doesnt want to go to collage when he leaves school....been there since Feb, and he is injoying to...plus he's learning about a specialist type of product without knowing...

I am dreading when all this snow melts... and goes all 'dirty' looking'...

You're in a posh city! Houses on the Cathedral green can get the same price per square foot as in Kensington and chelsea!

    Snow!!!!!

The fog was incredible too.....it lifted very slowly...old Cuckoo chicken came to the edge of the barn, looked out, shook her head and turned to shuffle back in. Some of the younger hens braved it, but most though cuckoo probably is old enough to follow without condition.

Trying to work out what we need in the groceries for the next couple of weeks so don't have to go out again ....so going through non festive meal plans now.

Spent late last night looking at google street view of places I used to live - fascinating.

Coldest place in Britain just now -15.

It's bitter out as there is a breeze. One sheep had its head stuck through the fence this morning, don't know how long it had been ther.

OH & I are gonna walk to the PO to pick up the paper - which have arrived amazingly - we phoned to check.
