    Hello everyone

Feeling a lot better this weekend, lovely trip to Theatre to see Alison Steadmna in Enjoy and today a bit of gardening. I can feel my sense of proportion returning about work problems. icon7.gif

Hope you've all had a good w/e not much time to catch up but well done TAG for giving up smoking. I did it many years ago and it's briliant once you manage it. Good luck.

Fly-wise - washing up to date, kitchen presentable after Sunday lunch and that will do for now?! Am done in after gardening.

where did you walk ZCC? I loooove coast path walking!

We only went from Exmouth to Lympstone - were planning on going to Topsham, but they haven't opened that up yet (the path, not the town)! Needed somewhere nice and flat, as we are out of practice. Am hoping to do the SW coast path this year (in sections!!) The tide was out, so got to do some of it on the flats, which was lovely. Can you suggest any other good ones?

ETA - have you tried National Trust cottages?

    Hi everyone,

    Welcome back Jo!

I've spent most of the day in the garden today, sometimes weeding and pruning, plenty of time just sitting in the sun! I did make it to the tip this morning, got rid of loads of sacks of garden waste & the Christmas tree at last  . Embarrassingly someone at the tip even commented that I was a bit late with getting rid of the tree!

I only had the bedroom windows to do & the kitchen windows & sill for 2 more stars this week but my energy has got up & gone so don't think it'll happen now today. I've got dough for rolls going in the breadmaker which'll need sorting later, that'll be about it for me I think!

Can't remember who mentioned sausage pie or maybe sausage bean & mash pie?? I'm veggie but could use the cauldron or quorn sausages, so if anyones got a recipe that'd be fab!

    hi everyone:hello:

haven't logged on for a few days but have kept on top of things, so the house is still looking great.:A

have spent this afternoon out in the back yard getting it ready for when my seedlings are ready to plant out. dh has built me some fairly big planters out of some wood we had left from when he built the fence which has saved some money because i was going to buy some plastic containers.:T

soappie are you 'down south'? i was wondering whether to put my potatoes into sacks and put them outside but don't know if its still going to be too cold 'up north'

going to catch up on some of the thread and then my cousin is coming over for a hand with his cv

    see you all soon

Salcombe to Bantham is a nice stretch (I do it regularly... but it's a long way!) Mind you... probably better to do it in shorter bits, particularly if you're travelling home afterwards as otherwise you'll seize up! Hope Cove to Bantham or the other way round is nice, and there are reasonable pubs at both ends - just no public transport so you need a car at each end.

I've always wanted to do the SW coast path, but never found any [STRIKE]victims [/STRIKE]volunteers to do it with me, so shout if you need company!

Quite understand on the smoking thing as I believe smokers have 'habit' fags - so if not being here = not smoking - you are forgiven!

I missed you - I am fighting a losing battle here on my own but all my ironing is done (as per usual) :rotfl:

    Im sorry.

No one upset me personally, and i didnt think that Soappie was having a go at me earlier. I know that cats are cats and really there isnt really much the owner can do about it anyway, short of following the cat round with a pooper scooper!! I wouldnt do anything bad to the cats (theres about 5 of them) - I was just having a moan....im sorry. I stood in it cutting the grass, my tools got covered in it digging up the weeds, it wasnt pleasant.

I was upset that i seemed to have upset everyone else, which is something i would never do and try to aviod confrontation at all costs. You are all so lovely, and I had thought that all the cat owners would know me better than to think i was having a go at them personally - which i know you know i wasnt. But yes, i do know what some of the other threads are like, and for the same reasons, I very rarely post anywhere else - only if i have a question about a challenge really!! And i only post if i recognise some of the names from here!!!

I wont say anything stupid again (hopefully) and i am sorry x

I have 4 cats.. perfectly trained to poop in next doors garden lol.. (they aren't really.. it would be like trying to herd them) one of ours poops in our grass and hubby gets covered when mowing. It isn't nice I know.

it was more stopping things before people got upset rather than that you had upset anyone..

Glad you decided to stay though.. your house is messier already! :p
