Getting along very slowly - kids annoyingly did not agree with my plans of no food and have eaten non stop since we got back.
DS3 happy as I have finally taken him to Argos to buy a light saber I promised on his birthday. Got it with my nectar points so no real cost. Also managed to get the last red nose in Sainsbury he said I really am lucky and then proceeded to pick up litter as we walked through town and put it in the bin.
Greenbee - another little step for me, we needed hand soap so I went into Oxfam and got the faith in nature one despite there being lots on offer in sainsbury.
Right another cuppa and I really want to just do the prunning before getting the washing in. Hoping OH will be home in time to make the kebabs and clean the shoes and footie boots. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Well done Dusty :T :T :T I have to admit that I love Oxfam... not for the second hand stuff, but for the lovely fairtrade/green stuff. I got some beautiful candles and bath oils to give as christmas presents, and elephant shaped nail brushes. However, for convenience, you can get the handwash in 5l containers and refill if you like it and want to avoid shopping in future!
Another load of washing on the line, so only one more to do, and a VAST pile of ironing  .
Feeling lazy, so just want to lie on the sofa and read, but when I tried that earlier I ate a large lump of cheese (and now feel sick) so suppose I should either do some flying or some work...0 -
toottifrootti wrote: »aunty crafty hello! I have probably asked you before but my memory is getting bad - what are you studying - is it OU?
Yes it's OU - Don't laugh - Classical Studies
What is more I am (apparently) doing it purely for pleasure. Which is not how it feels with a TMA looming.
greenbee - put beautifully. I would be seriously annoyed/worried etc. if a neighbour did that.
triker - hugs. You are having problems at the moment :A
AnWsMum - I finally have daffodils (dwarf ones in front bed). Have been watching them and at last they are starting to open.0 -
Well, our bowling plans for this evening are cancelled as we let our friends now too late that we wanted to go and they had already booked. We are both trying to convince each other/unconvince each other that we can afford a kebab as a consolation prize. When one of us says yes, the other is the voice of reason, and then we swap!
My plans for tomorrow are:
Keep up with washing up
Do hoovering (as DH has been working so hard and I don't have the heart to make him do it)
Reclean the bathroom (only did this Friday, friday nite DH had a bath and left it full of scum, Saturday morning he shaved and left shaving foam and all his hairs in th sink. Yuck. I've expressed my displeasure, and suggested he clean it all up, but nothing has happened so far!)
Try and do some of the lists
I've finally caught up with you all. It seems to have been an eventful weekend!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

TD on again, shredded a load of stuff, replaced old shredder with new one. Tried to dismantle the old one into plastic and metal etc was partly successful but had to admit defeat and bin the main part into the black bin

Hello:hello: :hello::hello::hello: Anyone miss me?
I've been trying to get on here all day. DH has taken the day off from hogging the computer totally:mad: (which is one of the reasons I haven't been around of late), and the flippin computer kept freezing:rolleyes: Seems ok now though.
Well, there has been very little flying done in the Tag household over the last few weeks. Don't even know how long I've been away:o Life was all becoming a bit too much and I decided that I should take some be nice to Tag time. Which I have, by the bucket load to be honest.:D
Plus, I also packed up smoking on the 25th February:T And, I haven't even had a cheaty puff or anything so hopefully I have finally cracked it this time. Which is also one of the other reasons I haven't been about. i.e HHC, then have a fag and up date my list IYSWIM.
The weather here has been ab fab today. So much so that DD and I have planted a load of seeds. Neither of us have a clue what we're doing :rotfl:but at the moment we are attempting cherry toms, lettuce, spring onions, beetroot, normal toms, sweet peppers and chilli peppers.:D I've also one some cress and mustard because they grow quickly and should help to keep DD's interest till the rest hopefully start sprouting. Can you believe I spent most of yesterday watching Alan Titchmarsh on How to be a Gardener:o
And just to keep on topic I have done 3 loads of washing, S & S the kitchen, swept the kitchen floor and that's it flying wise.
So hope your all ok. Hugs and get well soons etc if they're needed anywhere.
Will try and catch you all again later. TTFN:wave:0 -

Didn't mean to alarm you Toots - but thanks for caring! - I merely meant I give up on completing the list this weekend - the most I can manage is 15 mins in one go. I have decluttered the desk, sorted out coats (well, taken the ones I haven't used for ages upstairs), and partially decluttered the floor. Am now watching delightful Mr Walken in View to a Kill...I'll just do a bit here and there, but no more stars for me this week :A FLY FIRST, KNIT LATER :A0 -

If you take it to the tip they'll deal with it as electronic waste and should keep all of it out of landfill (most WEEE recyclers have a zero landfill policy). I won't get on my soapboxbut it's best to take stuff to the tip as they make a huge effort to keep stuff out of landfill, whereas the kerbside collections are somewhat limited in what they can do.
ETA - TAG - I was wondering earlier today where you'd disappeared to. Well done on not smoking! ZCC - you're not supposed to spend the whole weekend doing housework! You have to have some time to enjoy yourself. Little and often is the best way to do it, and it will gradually improve. Do the things that will make your home a nicer place for you to be in... the stars are just for fun - it's not a competition, despite what I said to Mudbath last week!0
