I've asked him to pay via bank transfer as he say's it will take him 3 days to get the funds into Paypal, does that sound right ot dodgy?

    Hi,
the guy in germany has now recieved the watch however he say's it has a mark on the dial which will cost him 200 euros to repair. I've asked for a picture. Any ideas what to do or what he could do?

No damage was listed in the listing and what he has said is the mark is small and inside the case on the dial. Rolex have quoted 200 euros to repair however i suspect that includes a full servcie as well.

ask for a copy of the quote, from the repairer, including the serial number of the watch. On headed paper of course and fully itemised.

I don't think paypal would count that as SNAD unless you described it a mint and unblemished. Presumebly the listing also had close up photos of the dial?

He's obviously just trying it on in my opinion. If he was expecting perfection then he should pay 4 times the price for a new one from a retail outlet!

Did he pay by paypal? If not I would tell him nice try, but sold as seen (TBH I would be tempted to say that anyway!)
