Ooh, I just missed out on a Lloyd loom style bedside table too. MIL inherited her next door neighbours house and my SIL bagged the bedside table and also a circular wicker chair. Those tables look nice with some cath kidston wallpaper under the glass.

I got a hard back copy of Larousse Gastronomique last week from a carboot sale. The stall holder was a general dealer and asked for 50p, he didn't think anyone would want it, because in his words "it's a French book".
If he'd looked inside he would have seen it was written in English :)

Can't remember what the star means but 925 means they are silver:j:D

Been to three today - the weather was perhaps too nice as I was flagging pretty quickly. Still, bought:

some CDs - nothing too exciting, though one I picked up for 20p should go for a fiver

unused exfoliating gloves - 10p (just had a look and they're Body Shop ones)

a nice pair of barely worn boots for work - £2. I got some boots for work a couple of weeks ago but they're fur lined and so are going to be boiling in this weather

A fab gadget light thing called a Laserpod, brand new in box and with diffusers - £5. These sell for around £35ish so a great bargain. I just have to decide whether to sell it or keep it...
