Ooh great thread - can I join in as jumbles and chazzas are my most favourite hobby!
Goanmad - I LOVE reading about your finds - they sound like the sort of things I would leap at. I had been selling vintage clothing on and off for the past 18 years but my best ever rag merchant closed down and I gave it up last year. Most stuff I find now I keep!:o
Visited a new town today, which is always exciting for scoping out fresh independent charity shops.

Two vintage wooden 'folk art' owls for 90p
A really lovely long pea green cotton skirt £4.25
A slow cooker book £2.00
A huge stack of brand new postcards (great for postcrossing) 50p
A kodak digital camera £2.99
Portuguese cook book 50p

August GC £0/£3000 -
I recently had a (minor) rant on the benefits board about the cost of my daughters school uniform.
The blazer alone costing 25quid.
Went into town today, popped into the Salvation Army, and got one for 2 quid , correct size, and correct school logo:j:j
Am overjoyed !0 -
Oooh, some good finds already this week. Well done all. Tomorrow's forecast is good here, so if I can get up in time it's the bootsale for me in the morning0

Mary Queen of Shops moves onto charity shops, starting on June 2nd:

A good tip in the article - if the assistants are fatter than you, they won't have bagged the best clothes in your size!
Rain here agaon yesterday, so did a few local charity shops, a couple of finds. A pale blue silk jumper with silver beading round the neck was £2 because of some staining, it's responded well to a soaking in Vanish and a hand-wash in Dreft. And a pair of Georges Rech black linen wide-leg trousers with a beaded and embroidered waistband for £3.50!0
