Hi fizzle2006. Must say I was really impressed with that Ojon treatment, £29 is a hideous amount of money but my very long, over-processed hair was so shiny and soft afterwards and when you compare it to spending £38 on a cut and finish at Toni and Guy I don't suppose it's quite so outrageous!

I live in a grotty industrial town in the West Midlands. I suppose the people here aren't as well-heeled as the more affluent areas and so don't recognise high-end or designer labels (unlike me) so I snaffle the bargains. I do much better charity shopping in the poorer areas than the posher ones.0 -

Yeah I think you guys could be right
I stay in the West End of Glasgow most of the time with my fiance and there are loads of charity shops here, but its a very student based area because of all the uni's nearby and I think many students shop in my local ones for vintage buys, leaving nothing for poor old me lol
Off to the charity shops today down my local shopping centre, shall report back if anything of interest lol **hope so**!!Comping Fairy bring some luck my way! :dance:Love my Fiance Spiceboy :happyhear:iloveyou:0 -

I'm having a great week (makes up for the disapointing wash-out weekend). Popped into a local town centre charity shop, not one I often visit as it's a bit too fuddy-duddy, you know the type - the worst sort of acryllic and frumpy M & S with very high prices. Snaffled a vintage, angel-sleeved moss crepe midi dress. Absolutely perfect fit, no maker's name, just the "MOSS CREPE" label ( a favourite material of Oz Clarke) and a snip at £3.95. :j0

Yesterday I managed to pick up a lovely gold rope chain (costume) for £1.99! Was really pleased as I love wearing gold necklaces and i'd just shelled out £13 for a similar one on ebay.
Also got a lovely striped vest top (primark) but only £1 and a diamante ravel handbag for only £3.75. Well chuffed as i'd been looking at a similar bag before Xmas and it is very small, so will be great for taking on nights outComping Fairy bring some luck my way! :dance:Love my Fiance Spiceboy :happyhear:iloveyou:0 -
I am giving up with the charity shops as most of them are too expensive, there is on charity shop in a village near me which seems to have low prices and i have picked up a few bargains, but the ones in town are charging more than what you can buy it for new. I think i will stick to the boot sales where most items are 50p or 1 pound.
One of the shops i went into last week had handbags priced at 20.00, yes they may have been designer but 20.00 for a 2nd hand handbag seems a bit expensive to me, also dresses priced at 15.00 (not designer), primark tops price at 4.50 (they only cost 2.00 in the shop).
Lets hope the weather is nice for the weekend so i can get back to the boot sales.0
