selling your stuff on Amazon...part three...

It seems having a whinge works - I've sold three in two days :-)
Not pots of money, around £2.50 profit on each, but every little helps.
I am still worried about those "closed" ones. I hope they weren't sold but I just hadn't had the emails. Looks bad. Presumably I will find out if someone complains.0 -
i bought a book today and there is only one copy of it selling on amazon, for 22.50. I have tryed bookfinder.com and the only one it finds is the one listed on amazon and for some reason the last digit of the isbn is the letter x lol
it doesn't seem like a popular book either so i think i'll list it for about 10?0 -

If you haven't already have a look at your transactions. Go to - my account, then seller account, then on the left side amazon payments account and billing history - then transactions. If you've been paid for the books that closed you can maybe step in before you get a complaint and neg feedback, just explain that amazon were having problems recently with emails (it's true) and it might all be OK.0 -
Will do, thanks.0

Well, the whinge worked last time I tried it (a week ago). I sold two books within the following two days. No more since then. However, as I only have eight open listings I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
I am going to go out on a book hunt tomorrow and scout out a new area for good charity shops. Most areas of London, though, I find to have pretty slim pickings (and expensive pickings, too!).'Everyone loves to read but it can be a real nuisance when you lose your place. Here's a solution. Aaaaargh :-(
I took your advice apprentice tycoon anbd, sure enough the books had been sold - but nothing from Amazon.
My first three books as well.
The problem is, two of them have been sold a second time and I've posted them.
So, three emails - one to a buyer who hasn't received their book yet, telling them it will be posted in the morning and two grovelling and refunding them.
I suppose I'll have to take any bad feedback on the chin :-(
One thing, we should all remember - I certainly will - is to check our transactions regularly and not rely on Amazon emailling us.0 -
The whinge worked! I just sold a book, one of the very first I ever put up and it has been relisted twice already.
