YM20,
people can be so stupid can't they, setting fire to an old peoples home?? How low can some people go.
Well done on the NSD, today has so far been a NSD for me so YAY for both of us!!!
Grandparents can either be a godsend or not I suppose, my mum and dad are great with my 2 although they very rarely have them. Mostly because I'm too proud to ask to be honest. The other set of grandparents are awful, don't get me wrong they look after them fine but they spoil them far too much. They come back and their behaviour is awful but I suppose I should just be grateful they bother?
Wonder if anyone knows anything about amazon?? I sold a book on there a couple of weeks ago and I'm owed £17.11 but I can't withdraw it, it says it's below the amount or something?? What if I never sell anything else though, I'll never get my money. And also what is the amount it has to reach? I can't find anything on there there to tell me.
Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

Off to my parents today for Easter lunch and an egg hunt for the kids, nice cheap day, I tried to make a banoffee pie though and it seems to have gone a bit wrong....my toffee didn't seem to turn into toffee. Oh well I'll soon find out when they try it, I think I'll give it a miss though!!!
Can anyone help with my amazon problem above???
Thought I'd bump up to see if anyone can help?
Many Thanks

I'm considering sticking some bits on Amazon this week, is it loads of hassle? EBay annoys the hell out of me, it takes so long
We painted eggs and then did a mini egg hunt, my dad wasn't very impressed we used up nearly all his eggs but i couldn't bare to leave chocolate all over the place plus it took aaaages to paint them and get cleaned up which means less time to spend money.
My LOs behaviour is awful on the odd occassion hes left alone with my Mother, he plays up for her to get attention and then because she reacts badly it puts him in a bad mood for the rest of the day. My sis and her GF spoil him when they have him though and hes fine when he gets back, he just spends the next few days asking to see/phone them.
MMM @ banoffee pie, although i'll skip yours too thanks :rotfl:

Yeah I have added them, I did it when I set the acc up. I've had an e-mail now to say it's been paid out, thanks anyway.

Amazon is really easy but watch you don't lose out on postage, they charge a standard rate of £2.75 and the book I sold cost me over £4.00 to send but I'm still getting £17 odd pound so not too bad.
Hope you had a nice easter. I don't even wanna tell you what I ended up spending on an impromptu night out on Sunday...I'm still cringing at how drunk I was and at my bank balance.

Morning Helnag,
Just a wee catch up cos couldn't get on most of the weekend. I've spent a fortune this weekend but it was brill - sometimes you have to spend. Started detox today, have a feeling might save some money cos won't be going to the canteen etc. Can only be good. Well done with your not buying clothes airers - I nearly bought a laptop yesterday, only reason I didn't was forgot credit card - thankfully! x0 -
So long as whatever you spent was worth it it doesn't matter, it was bank holiday, spending is necessary. I was working and had lots of fun charging ppl a fiver!! I would never pay a fiver to get in somewhere. My fave customer ever, usually known as Mr Saturday Night came in, £5 tip for me
Anyways off to drop the monster off with my sis and her gf for some park time and so i can get on with some coursework and maybe some eBaying if i can face it.
Have a good afternoon

Hiya,
yeah you're right, I went to see my parents for the day Sun and caught up with my friend that I haven't seen since September, my ex took the girls home and I proceeded to drink the bar and my bank account dry. Luckily I didn't break into any bill money but I was sooo drunk it could've easily happened.
Speaking of laptops, my dad had a letter Saturday to confirm his laptop finance, only problem being he hasn't bought one!!!! £700 laptop in his name...SCARY!!!!

Well I finally have the diagnosis on the car after I called the AA out yesterday, I need a new water pump and my battery has also gone and died on me!!
I've rung round a few places and the cheapest is £180...ouch. I'm kind of in a catch 22, I can't get to work without it but I can't get it done without working!!! My car tax is also due this month and MOT next and I know I need new tires and brakes. How I wish I had a savings acc with more than £15 in it!!!! I feel so down about everything at the moment, just when I feel I'm gonna be able to start getting on top of things it all goes pear shaped.
