Hi everyone
I've collected a whole bunch of threads together here so that the various comments and questions can be found in one place.

My dearest mother in her infinate wisdom decided to come round and do some stuff to my house. She thought she would be lovely and do some washing but i dont use softner, so she went and bought some. Then decided to wash all my microfibre cloths with softner.
How do i rescue them? of will they be ok after 1 wash if i just rinse them?
Thanks in advance.0 -
Just wash them without softner again, mine came up fine after that, just bought some of the Tescos 89p ones today, for 3 definately not bad, and work well tooOne day I might be more organised...........

I just don't get microfibre cloths. I bought one to clean round the bathroom and have used it a few times but don't find it any different or better than any other cloth I've used.
Am I missing something?0 -
Perhaps it's the particular one you got? I find them much better than cotton cloths.
Cheapest microfibre cloths - there is a new winner ! The 99p shop(a 1p difference didn't really count) are now selling a pack of 5 for 99p - the same 4 cloths as in the Poundland pack (blue, green, pink, yellow), plus an orangey one with a small squared pattern that they claim is suitable for floors. This makes it just under 20p/cloth.0 -

has anyone bought these ? and if so are they just as good as the dearer ones ?
many thanks in advance.
I bought both the large coloured ones and the value ones... in many ways I prefer the value ones. I find that they are a handier size. They wring out much easier for a start and when wiping around I have bit more control. (No overhang of cloth sloshing around).
I like to wash and wipe with a damp cloth and then polish with a dry one to give a shiny finish.
89p for three.... I have at least a dozen now0 -
I've seen on lots of threads that people rave about these so I've bought some today (bathroom, dusting and kitchen ones).
Now I'm after some help please.... how are they best used? Do they work better with some sort of detergent / cleaner or alone? Is there anything I shouldn't risk cleaning with them?
Any help gratefully received!0 -
Hi kittycat,
I use them in the kitchen and bathroom with stardrops (not the same cloths). They are great for cleaning glass: use one slightly dampened with water to clean the glass and then buff dry with another microfibre cloth.
We have a couple of older threads that will show how others use them:

microfibre cloths
I'll merge your thread with those later as it helps to keep all the suggestions together.

Hi I have just bought 4 different textured microfibre cleaning cloths from dunelm mill.
I have no ide how to use them, apart from dusting with them. Do i wet them or use them dry, can i use them in my bathroom and kitchen, or for windows.
