    Hi,

Yes, just normal hot water is fine really. The micro"fibres" are like little hooks AFAIK, so they "pick up", if using as a duster. (It was me that mentioned that in the other thread btw)

If you do buy a stack then don't use fabric conditioner when you wash them as this dosn't suit them for some reason, for this reason I also don't put mine in the tumble dryer, but that be just me.

I havn't used fabric conditioner for years and honestly can't tell the difference.

I personally really think they are very very good.
  • Oh I ♥ microfibre cloths, I've had mine for over 9 years and I only have a little hole in one of them, got them from Lakeland.

it says you don't need to use any cleaners with them, is this the case?

It is :D I have several cloths and a MF floor mop.

As this has fallen from the front page of OS, I'll add it to the existing thread to keep ideas together.

I have used microfibre cloths for years for cleaning and a variety of uses. However, i have to wash them with the towels with no fabric softener as i find when i use fabric softener in the wash i get smears on my mirrors/windows/and television screens.

When the doctor was quick to get me to have a hysterectomy down to heavy periods i decided to stick it out and they were a godsend during my 'heavier days'. They just got chucked in the wash when no one was looking. Yes, gross i know but when needs must.:rotfl:Thankfully i dont seem to be having that problem now i am of menopausal age.:o
