I've never tried them, but after reading this thread, I think I will. I've found some for a penny on ebay, but I'm not sure if they're any good.
This is the link, what does anyone else think?

I've followed a link to here from the Stardrops thread.....that I only found yesterday after following a thread from somewhere else.....This site is like a labyrinth of knowledge & I don't have a compass:p
I'm going back to finish reading the stardrops so I'll come back here later.....no housework done today then! But I'll get thru it twice as quick after picking up all these tips when I DO get around to starting it:DFull time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.

A little tip
If you spray some diluted Stardrops on your bathroom mirror and wipe it with a glass cleaning microfibre cloth (thin, smooth one), it won't steam no matter how long a shower you take. An accidental discovery, mistakenly I used stardrops instead of Windex to clean the mirror, it worked wonderfully, and when I finished my shower, it was not foggy at all. Needless to say, now I use only Stardrops to clean my bathroom mirror.
And it doesn't streak, but it needs to be a rather week solution, say 1:7 Stardrops : Water.0 -
I've just discovered how good microfibre cloths are for cleaning, and I'm pleased to say it has rekindled my motivation for cleaning! The bathroom got a good going over this morning, the kitchen this afternoon, and I'm going to have to look into this Stardrops stuff when I go into town tomorrow (to pick up another couple of microfibres from Savers)Continually trying the Grocery Challenge. Gotta keep trying!0

I bought a selection of MF cloths from various places to see which were best for me. I found a box of four different coloured ones for 99p, in a silver foil box & 'OTL' on the back of the box.
BE WARNED! I used the red "multi-purpose" one yesterday for the loo & the colour that came out into the water was frightening:eek:
Didn't notice any yellow come out of the "kitchen & bathroom" one, so perhaps I should have kept the red one for dustingAll four have slightly different textures, so I guess it will still be trial & error till I get the hang of them.

LOL BMF
The only thing I like Microfibre clothe for is dry dusting. Most other cleaning i prefer a cut up old towel probably most won't agree with me but I think they're hard to beat plus those cloths vary so much depending on the brand etc.Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)

What I MEANT to say was how much red dye came out of the clothI was trying to be careful & follow Pink for the Sink & Blue for the Loo & Red was the closest I got to it.... except I was using a different colour scheme :rotfl:
