    Washing machine on.

    Little bear refuelled.

Not much else to report. Even the evil off topic stuff is pretty flat. I suppose I ought to savour it while I can

Christabell - have you looked on the utilities board? They do a bit about gas and electric. Also have you looked at quidco and uswitch? At least if you switch you get some pennies back.

    Hugs to all

    Morning guys,
:grouphug: to those that need one. Hope you are all doing ok.
Well we managed to get part of DD bedroom sorted but not quite finished. needed a few more coats of white paint than first thought. However, I did manage to get her cotbed turned into a bed. Haven't managed to get a stairgate yet but I put one of her cot rails across the door just for my sanity if nothing else:p . She had a good night and slept really well. She really shocked me cuz she really likes her new bed(suppose it's being a big girl she likes):T . Anyway, today or tomorrow will put the coats of pink on her walls and get them finished;) .

Last night we had chippy, as I was that busy in dd's room that we didn't even have lunch:confused: . So chippy was a quick solution:confused: .
Not sure what to do for tea tonight but will have a look I think. got to make some more easiyo as last batch has been finished.
I am also hoping that DS2 will come home with his dr who backpack that went missing on tuesday:confused: . How can people mistaken someone else backpack and not have fetched it back yet? fingerscrossed as it's his beloved dr who...costs me a fortune. Just glad his obsession has lasted for 3 yrs..gets most out of his toys...LOL
Hopefully today will get downtown and stock up on fruit as all from last week was eaten:D by the kids;) .
Hope your day is good:beer: Kal25

Oh before I forget, does anyone know how I get to put something at the end of my post eg GC figures and little sayings etc?
Have been looking but cant find the answer!

Up at the top, where the thread starts there is a horizontal bar that starts with Main Site Forum User CP FAQ Members List Calendar New Posts Search Quick Links Log Out.

You need to click on User CP and then find the bit that says Edit Signature. I can't get mine to look anything like, but that is me.

Actually, I've never noticed the bit about the calendar - off to investigate!

  • Hello
Nothing much getting done, beginning to look like one of those jobs for Kim and Aggie. how do you get motivated when all you want to do is go back to bed? I start work at 9.30 - and I'm not dressed yet. Good job they're flexible. Have been reading the thread "how to clean a loo" so will go and swish my two before I leave for work. Have to do this before I put work clothes on or I will get them splashed and have to change. Tea will be fridge use up and probably involve curry sauce.

Meanmarie - my dear heart has a Yorkshire background, and I don't even try to change his mind... But the most stubborn I've ever met are the Welsh (some of my mother's family, they are not big on sanity either )

    Morning all

Not feeling very good today as last night I was really missing my OH. Turned on the tv today and it is all about friends and staying in touch. I have been feeling like writing them an email but last time I got a stroppy one back and they havent replied to me last one I sent in January. I sent them a sweet care package a few weeks ago - and I don't know if they got that.

Got to search the flat for the secondary credit card that my mum has as she wants me to get her a tshirt for Comic Relief and I have to keep doing what she says as she has some money that my Grandparents gave me. I have had a good look and it isn't lost as such . It is just in my credit card wallet which I haven't seen or used in ages. Then will get a coupla bits from Tesco and then jobsearch.

I also have to sort out the papers in the flat and finish off the Obama book so I can send it off for Green Metropolis. Was hoping to go for a walk today as I am feeling like I need to lose weight just in case I see my OH before I get to pension age but flatmate is ordering me to do his housework. :(

Dinner tonight is going to be a tiny amount of HM pork chili defrosted, no rice. Will try to do without lunch.

    Hope everyone is well.

    :hello: Good morning!

Lovely and sunny here today and I feel much more cheerful, thank goodness, I'd decided I'd go and ask the doc for some happy pills today but don't think i need to now.

Have done one load of washing, may do some more later. I feel unusually energetic so it's very tempting to try to do too much even though I know that if I do, the energy will just dissipate  Slow and steady wins the race, at least i hope it does :p Will try to do some more decluttering though. Does anyone else feel as if they're drowning in a sea of unnecessary paperwork? Lots of you, I bet!

Must go to the butcher presently, a bit devoid of dinner ideas but think i'll get some chump ends of lamb and do a casserole, we haven't had that for a while.

Sorry this post is soooo boring!

((((HUGS)))) to all in need, thinking especially of Chrisca and family, and MSD.:A

By the way, I was browsing the motoring board when I first logged in, and there's someone else with my username, only they're Ivyleaf with a capital I! I'm so surprised, as I thought my username wouldn't be thought of by anyone else!

    all for now

Ok deep breath - first time posting on this thread, although I have been reading it for weeks/months and finally getting courage up to join in as you all sound so caring and nice!!

Not joined in before coz quite frankly my life would not really be that interesting to others - just work and worrying about money (husband on really short time at moment) But kind of feeling that I could use some friends right now!!! Although my worries are not important when compared to some of yours!:embarasse

Anyway day off work today, going to try some os recipes (although I am not the best baker in the world!) Hope you all have good day.
