Pippa, congratulations to your (newly extended) family. Your post brought tears to my eyes... yes, I'm another one who's been at the vino! But it was a proper bottle (birthday present) so I can't even pretend it's because it's really strong homebrew. I confess it - I'm a lightweight! :beer:

Pippa S....that is possibly the most fantastic news that your DD and her OH will ever get in their entire lives. I'm so happy for them, and for you, and for their little boy.

My day...tut...just the one reject letter today. I have sent off for some more application forms. They are forms mad here in N.Ireland as the equal opportunity laws are so strictly enforced - everybody has to answer exactly the same questions and CVs aren't encouraged at all. Unfortunately it takes forever writing everything out over and over again. Still onwards and upwards...

Snowyowl - you're right it is the best news ever for them, they both wanted children so badly and were'nt blessed.

We are off to West Sussex tomorrow afternoon when we have sorted the 2 Mums out.It's DGD2's 3rd birthday on Tuesday, but the party is on Sunday. So thats our weekend all planned out.
