    Morning.
We havent been doing an awful lot lately so not much to report.
Yesterday I went and withdrew some of our savings as OH's motorbike is getting too old to keep reviving and with the interest rates so low, we might as well make use of some money in a more constructive way.
He came home last night with a big grin and a new (second hand) bike! I was flabbergasted that he has worked so fast but then he admitted it was on loan from the shop as he said he wanted to try before buying. Good move as he has a lot of miles to cover and it must be fuel economic. I think it will probably be the one he buys as he was full of praise for it. I expect I will hear all about its virtues now for the next couple of weeks LOL .Boys and their toys. Although it is actually much more than a toy as he works in London and rides about 90miles a day and no congestion charges or Motorway toll to pay.
Kids are back from Uni at the end of the Month for easter Hols so I must get some chocolate to make us each a nice big choccy egg. We have always made them and they are much much cheaper than just buying ready made .

    Morning all

Haven't posted over here for yonks but do dip in and out now and then to make sure you're all behaving.....:D

Tru - I'm forever "doing a Tru" and going on strike....they are getting better....slowly.

Life's a bit all over the shop at the mo, just started the appeals process for DD2's secondary school, so an anxious few months ahead there...plus we're moving in 5 weeks!!!! We're moving out of the village and back into town  . I shall miss the countryside but I will only be 5 mins walk from the beach and the town centre which will be sheer bliss....I might even think about going back to work.

Anyway - I need your help...the new house has an built in fridge that I won't be using as I have a huge larder style one already, I can't remove it as it's only a rented property so I want to just turn it off and ignore it......but will it start to smell? Should I be shoving some bicarb in it? Any ideas??

Dinner tonight will be "on toast" - Fridays always used to be takeaway or something a bit more fancy than the normal fayre but we're all enjoying the delights of a quick and easy meal and a few games on the Wii instead :D

Hugs to all - hope you're all ok and have a fab day.

Hi Pooky don't think I've 'met' you before

I wouldn't leave the fridge turned off with the door closed as it may get very smelly  My DH runs his own removal & storage business (although very quiet at the mo) and we've always taped stored fridges open to stop mould & smell developing whilst in storage. Its all to do with the warmth inside when not switched on and the lack of air circulating I think. Could you maybe use it for drinks or something? Or for defrosting stuff in? HTH

    Hellooo

I did think that may be the case...I was trying to get away without the cost of running 2 fridges :D DH has already said he'd happily use it as a beer fridge and keep it well stocked to make it more economical to run....bless him!:rotfl:

Morning all...................((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))) if you need one...........

Again I typed a message and it disappeared...........its a bright sunny morning, very cold, the roof of the house opposite has frost on it.

OH has now gone 8 days without a dizzy typical!!! He has the chiropodist coming this morning to see to his feet, have just roused him, he is in the shower.

I still have the bubble of excitement, mind you its going to be hard work for me over a week, getting the stuff shifted, although DS2 may well be able to spare a day to come and help me get the sitting room carpet up, if the landlord agrees to us putting it down in the second bedroom and also on the stairs, otherwise someone is going to get a damn good carpet for nowt which offeneds my MS principles.............

Today is suposed to be my sewing day, but I might get a bit done this morning. OH will want a walk at some point past the house I have no doubt, he was talking about working out a route from the new house.........we also have to book his appointment for the clinic 2 weeks today.

    Right going for a shower...............
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.
