    i've got one of r.macs cakes in the oven as i type, was a lemon short but hoping it will turn out ok. will put lemons on the shopping list for the weekend.

    I`ts been a long while since iv`e been on here, and i`ve totally lost the knack of navigating my way around!
    can some please guide me to the recipe index? i`m trying to find a recipe for Lemon drizzle cake(to impress my new boss lol)!

    Hello everyone

    I have a lemon cake in the oven at the moment. Just wondering what to do for a topping (have most things in). Does anyone know how to do that sugary lemon drizzle topping? Any sugguestions most welcome.

    1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
    I just mix lemon juice and sugar together till it tastes just right and is runny enough and pour over the warm cake.

    I always mix the lemon juice with icing sugar, pour over, whilst cake still warm.
