    Hi Obukit
I used your great info to book a two for one sometime ago, for staying in a couple fo weeks at the brentwood HI, does this offer include breakfast? - if not do you know what the cost of this is and does it work out cheaper if pre-booked
many thanks for your time x
    Hi,

None of the promotional rates include breakfast I'm afraid. You can normally add it at check-in - each hotel prices this differently but you should be looking at about £7.50pp. Otherwise, find a nearby cafe - more often than not you find one very close to big hotels for obvious reasons ;).

I used this to book two separate nights at an IHG hotel in Athens and saved a bundle which I shall spend on ouzo !
Many thanks to Obukit for the heads-up.
  • My experience is the same as Nobjocki's: all the thanks given to Kit are well-earned.

Just a quick note for anyone else here who may be wondering about breakfast inclusive deals etc: we've made a number of bookings and in just about every case the chosen locality has featured both a Holiday Inn and an Express by Holiday Inn.

Holiday Inns are perceived to be superior to the Express by Holiday Inn but that isn't necessarily the case: there may well be more facilities, but if you're not going to take advantage of an indoor swimming pool, or whatever, during an overnight stay, then the HI option is expensive.

No Holiday Inn (as far as I've discovered) offers a buffet breakfast in with the room price, whereas Express by Holiday Inns seem to do so as standard.

Factor in the breakfast cost for two people charged by HI and the breakfast-inclusive E-HI offers represent outstanding value.

It's worldwide as far as I'm aware -- as long as where you wish to go has availability under whichever promotional scheme you're following.

We've booked in the UK and Europe, and friends of ours have booked in Florida.

As far as I'm aware the first two offers will only work in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Friends and Family rate should work worldwide though, so for the Americas it's best to try this rate.

Enjoy your trips to New York! :)

Many thanks. I booked the Express Holiday Inn, Derby for Thursday and Friday nights last week for £80 including a buffet breakast, excellent.
  • Hi there,

I wonder if anyone could help me, I recently booked the 2 for 1 promotion for a holiday inn Glasgow for £60 all in. However today when I checked my online banking I noticed they've taken the full £120, has anyone else experienced this problem or is it just my bad luck!?

I've phoned hotel but because I finished so late from work theres no one around to help me... I really hope I can get this sorted!
