Concerning the 2 for 1 offer, has anyone made different consecutive bookings of 2 nights and had any problem at the hotel? This is restricted to 2 nights, and I need 4 consecutive ones. :o TIA.

Yes, I did this for my brother over New Year in Bucharest a couple of years ago. I booked 3 blocks of 2 nights under the 2-for-1 deal. I did it over the phone to make sure it was done right and the hotel linked all the reservations together so he kept the same room for the entire 6 night stay.

Thanks again for your updates Obukit! I just used your friends/family for the first time to book Crowne Plaza Gatwick in October for £33.75. Very very good! Very pleased!

Is it possible to book the Gatwick hotels with parking for 15 days aswell please? I've had a read through but can't see a way to do this

Any help appreciated - wanted to book for night of 25/11/09..

And here is another one ta say thank you to Obukit! I am going to London for som Xmas shopping (early) with my kids in late november. Managed to book Express by Holiday Inn in Hammersmith for £129 for 2 nights, £ 64.50 per night including breakfast. Previous booking (could cancel with no penalty) was £303 without breakfast at Novotel Tower Bridge (which is as far away from Oxford Street as the one I now booked)... Appr £200 saved. Thank you!!

I'm confused with the wording used about bookings etc. The offer was only valid previously if you booked before the end of October, right? But you didn't need to travel before October?

So now it says bookings before December, but you can still travel afterwards right?

    Thanks

Hi, yes you can still travel after this date-but it must be booked by the offer end date.

We stayed on our 2 for 1 HI break this weekend and on checking in the lady asked how we wanted to pay and I said we would pay at the end of the break, she then gave us 2 vouchers for our stay so we would get breakfast for £6.95 each. The kids ate free.

So our 2 night stay, will full english buffet breakfast both days, at the HI cost the grand total of £92. Bargain!!
  • Enquiring into the Friends and Family promotion, it looks like it might work at the H.I in Kingston Ontario. Looking at the site though, (I'm not allowed to post the link of "hikingstonwaterfront") , I can't tell if they need payment up front now, before I show up in 2010! I also can't see their cancellation policies in case I wanted to book more than one room and needed to change the reservation. Suggestions? Last time I wrote to them asking for deals, they quoted me a rate higher than that of the ICHG!!!
