I have looked at that but dont understand!!

Looked at the 2 night for the price of 1, and on the first screen you go into after selecting the hotel, it says, for example £82.50, I am selecting that amount but then on the second screen, which you have to fill out all of your detials, the price has increased to £165, which is 2 nights at the £82.50.

Surely the price has then doubled???!!!!

When you reach the page with prices, select "Best available rate" instead of 2for1 then you will see the normal price for one night, which may or may not be twice the offer price. The £82:50 you see is the average room rate per night.

Thanks Obuykit for your clear instructions how to obtain 2 for 1 night at Holiday Inn. Was trying to look for cottages in Yorkshire/Linc but grotty and expensive. Have booked 12 nights - a great deal. Not quite the freedom of a cottage, i.e. no garden or washing machine but a good price. If my husband and I managed the website anybody can!

I may have made a mistake booking via the 2 for 1 offer. I booked 2 nights in Birmingham Crowne Plaza travelling solo. (work)
I've just looked at the Terms & Conditions on the 2 for 1 deal, and it says the following
) 2 for 1 offer is based on the Best Flex Rate and consists of two consecutive night stays for the price of one, based on two adults sharing a standard twin/double room (max.2 adults per room) at participating hotels only.
    5) Single supplement will be charged at the full room per night price.

Does this mean I'm going to be charged extra just for going on my own? There was no mention of this when I booked, and my Credit card has not been charged any extra. I am a Priority Club Card user and have never heard of a single person supplement at a Crowne Plaza.

    Thanks

I'm just back from a stay at Ellesmere Port using the friend and family rate. I was never asked to provide the voucher although I did have it on me. Many thanks for sharing the info, very happy.

If you've booked it via the website the price you pay is per room, rather than per person, so there won't be any single supplement to pay. The T&C is only in there for travel agents, who are typically quoted rates per person but have to pay extra if they want one person per room, rather than sharing twins.

Hope that helps to clarify it - you can contact the hotel directly to check if you'd like.

Hi Obukit, I hope you don't mind me asking, but I've just realised the holiday inn I booked abroad is apparently the wrong one and i know it cannot be transferred. Now they cannot at present charge my card as I lost it and am awaiting a new one. Will they simply just release the room, or would I still be liable for the costs, if i don't show and pay for a room at the other one, as I don't want any legal action, lol. Thanks

I booked Holiday Inn Cardiff for 12 people in 3 rooms for 2 nights. The total price came up to £405 which included:
    £315 Rooms at £105 each
£90 extra person charge at £15 each.

I have used the 2for1 offer.

Having just checked my credit card online I have been charged £495. This is due to the extra person charge for the second night. Are they allowed to do this? Shouldnt they notify me first and isnt it a system error? Is they any way I can fight it so they honor the room at £405?

    Hi,

Strange... it seems to be working fine for me. Could you try this direct link: -

    http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/6c/1/en/c/1/content/dec/teaser/6c/1/en/lp/emea/fresh.html?rateCode=IKEX3&cm_mmc=partnership-_-exclusive-_-35-_-retail

and tell me if that works? Thanks.

Does anyone know if a voucher is needed at check in if made a booking through this link. I think this link might be different to the F&F link but i just wanted to check
