I'm not going to get into an argument with "u" [sic] but in the end I work for Express by Holiday Inn full time, dealing with reservations day in, day out. If you think you know better than me and want to report me for "abuse", that's fine. I'm sure anyone who tries calling 0800 434040 will see just how great your knowledge is.

call the number, i did an they said it can only be booked online and the voucher must be present or u will be charged the full rate!

this was taken from the terms of the link for booking:

Can my friends and family book their rooms over the phone? No, bookings for this Friends and Family Rate Promotion are valid only on the Friends and Family promotion website and must come through an employee-supplied URL. Bookings cannot be made through IHG call centers or through other channels

I called and booked it over the phone, they said if you have a problem booking online they are happy to do it on the phone.

If there had been a problem or issue re Obukits original posts re the offers, believe me MSE'ers would waste no time reporting back.

Guess what, there has been hardly any issues, those that there have been Obukit has always gone out of his way to offer solutions or advice on how to remedy them.;)

Thank you so much for posting about this offer Obukit, it is really appreciated by many.:T

I followed instructions and booked a Friends and Family with Bath Hol Inn Express for £60 per night which is brilliant plus booked additional nights using the 2for1 for £30 per night.
A HUGE thank you for this and your help on these boards.

Just saved more money with one of the links - Gatwick Crowne Plaza end of July - £34. Everywhere else it is between £60-90 for the same room.

    Thanks one again Obukit!

You need to print out a voucher online and fill in: -

    Employee name: Anthony Bainbridge
    Hotel: Denham Head Office

plus the rest of the details from your reservation, which you'll find in your confirmation email.

The hotel staff may be getting confused as in the past you had to get a "white card" from a line manager, however, now they've moved it to booking online yourself rather than through an employee this is no longer neccessary for Friends and Family rate (you do still need one for employee rate, though).
