I made a couple of posts a few weeks ago and was planning to book going through the friends and family link. Just been reading few the past couple of pages and a little confused.
Has IHG gave MSE members authorised to use the name of: Anthony Bainbridge to get reduced rate until May 31st?
if so i take it theres no max number of people that can take advantage of this?
Or is Anthony Bainbridge work for IHG and also a MSE?
I have read through the past posts and apogise if questions have been asked but just need to make sure as theres no way i could pay anymore money on arrival.
thanks.

Just checked my online banking and theyve taken £124 out!
Ive emailed them and hoping for a refund! Anyone else had this happen?
Yep happened to me over Easter,
the processing is done by the local hotel team and they sometimes get it wrong. Refunded at the hotel, take a print of the on-line booking.0 -
I had to go to Southampton the other week for for a business meeting and stayed at the Express Holiday Inn just off the M27. Im NO fan of staying in hotels believe me but I have to say the hotel was AMAZING!!! Really clean and tidy and the food was good to! (which is always a bonus after a long drive heh!)
I got the weekend deal at this link

Definatly reccommend it!!0 -
Another big thank you to Obukit for the original post.
Just got back from 5 great days in New York, stayed at the HI on 6th Avenue, booked through the 'Friends and Family' link and saved a couple of hundred dollars on the original rate.
Had no problems at check-in, and they did not even ask for the voucher.
Got the HI Express Swiss Cottage booked through the same link in June for the AC/DC gig in Wembley, hopefully things will go just as smoothly.0 -
Can I just ask please. If you use priority points to buy a dinner voucher and use it for a free evening meal at a Crowne Plaza do the kids still eat free with you?
Many thanks0 -

It's a bit beyond my expertise as I work for Express by Holiday Inn I'm afraid but I think so - however it's best to speak to the hotel directly to confirm it.
If not make a fuss - IHG are always banging on about Priority Club being "our most valued guests" etc. etc. so you certainly shouldn't be disadvantaged simply because you stay often at hotels.0 -
Hi there,
Just so you know where things stand, Antony, Deputy VP of HR, said it was okay to use his link.
Yet when I confirmed with the IHG press office that it was okay to use Kit's, they said they would close the link down. (Though they were happy to honour the special discount rate for any people who booked before the link closed.)
I will email them to confirm about Anthony's as you request, and post back with what they say. (I expect it will be that they are closing the link, but previous bookings are still valid).
Thanks very much
This link is still valid, so assuming it can still be used. Jenny did you get the ok to use the link?0 -
I want to make a booking using the F&F link and having read some of the previous posts I noticed most of them they say that you must complete the Employee's name and their location, however I can't see "location" on the booking form, only "IHG employee" followed by "destination hotel". Can anyone please advise if there has there been a recent change to the form, which now only requires the employee's name to be completed? Many thanks.0

Unsure if it has changed, however I am putting the info in the name bit. Both the name and location. So should be ok.0
