Could you please let us know what changes are to be made to Competition Time, as from what I've seen on that board, everything seems to be covered.

Erm...

Might I just, very respectfully, point out that the word libellous (as in: "If you spot a spam, illegal, offensive, racist, libelous (sic) post or PM please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com") is misspelt and that this appears on every page?

(Mind you, I've yet to spot a post or PM that, as worded above, combines all of those crimes into a single, heinous atrocity. )

The English language is also butchered on every page with "Pls (sic) be nice to all MoneySavers. There's no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps."

I don't "disagree that courtesy helps" and there's certainly such a thing as a stupid place to put (and then to omit) a comma. :cool:

You're a wonderfully literate perfectionist yourself and these crude carelessnesses, which I'm sure you didn't perpetrate personally, demean you.

Fabulous - glad to see the comp board is staying the same!

lb364 the new searching method is just as good as comps ending - infact I've won a load more with the new method

Just on Vent, Bent or Heaven sent. Im afraid that change is due to legal advice. By having seperate boards; it causes us complaints because when it appears on google there can be warning by a company name - which isn't necessarily founded. Its been the cause of more single legal letters to the site than anything else - so we've had to change it that way.

i would love an easier way to check which comps you have already entered. Maybe like a little icon that indicates rather than having to open each post to check.

Some people only read the diaries and would not then read other nearby posts that they may be able to help with. Some newbies may feel the diaries section is a bit daunting as the threads are long with lots of long standing followers of various diaries.

They need to be together to keep the DFW community together - it will split into groups if a diaries board is created.

I agree with this. For some bizarre reason I can never find Old Style in the main listing even though I know it's roughly about 2/3 of the way down.
