  • Does anybody know if there is a way of looking at which hotesl are in the sale or is this part of the game once they go on sale? looking at the the sale on 8 September and ideally a hotel in Newcastle just wondering if it's possible to identify whether there will be any "sale" rooms at this hotel?

    thanks in advance

There`s no way of knowing which hotels have got rooms in the £12 sale but bearing in mind it`s for largely the winter period most should have some.

If you have a certain date and hotel in mind have a look what the price is now and take it from there.
There are at least 5 within a 5 mile radius of Newcastle.
    Forget about Fri/Sat nights.

Terms and conditions The Travelodge autumn sale starts 6am Thursday 8 September 2011 at www.travelodge.co.uk. At the start of the sale, there will be 75,000 £12 rooms available for stays between 11 September 2011 and 31 January 2012 at selected hotels on selected nights. Sale and saver rate rooms can only be booked online at www.travelodge.co.uk and are available on a first come, first served basis. Rates must be paid for by a credit card or debit card at the time of booking; sale and saver rate rooms cannot be refunded. Booking fee applicable for credit card payments, no charge for debit card payments

thanks for the response - out of interest why forget Fri/Sat? because they can sell them anyway and thus don't form part of the sale? (i'm interested in a particular sat evening so sounds like a no goer anyway!)

No chance of a £12 room on a Saturday night I`m afraid at any time.
Funnily enough Sunday is one of the cheapest nights all the time.

The sale is supposed to start at 6am, site usually crashes shortly after that, so if it`s a Saturday you`re after
    stay in bed.

Anyone know if the Guildford travelodge was included last time? Just might give me a clue as to whether it will be included this time.

    Thanks - Karen :)

Hi - I have tried numerous times to book rooms with Travelodge and it never accepts payment from my Visa debit card - even though it works perfectly well with everything else - anyone any ideas? I e-mailed Travelodge but no reply. Thanks

I always use a visa debit from Halifax and have never had a problem yet with the booking.

Most sites now send you to Halifax secure to confirm a payment but I noticed this doesn`t happen with TL.
