Travelodge room sales discussion

  • Anyone care to guess what time the sale will start tomorrow morning?

I know some people have mentioned before that they were able to book sale rooms before 6 am.

I will be up early anyway:D. Want two nights mid week, which I think I will have a good shot at. Mind you they are in London, so will need to be on the ball to get them.

Thanks 2010 - I am wondering if the difficulty (with Travelodge!) is that my visa card is from a Northern Ireland bank. I will post on that forum and seek their advice. Thanks

No chance of a £12 room on a Saturday night I`m afraid at any time.
Funnily enough Sunday is one of the cheapest nights all the time.

The sale is supposed to start at 6am, site usually crashes shortly after that, so if it`s a Saturday you`re after
    stay in bed.
Just to say i have recently had a weekend away from the last sale, got friday and sat night, and away again in a couple of weeks, staying sat night - this was in the £10 sale, i got the Friday for 10.00, the sat for 19.50, and the next sat one for 15.00 - so, ok , i did not get sat night for 10.00 but still very cheap and i was over the moon - had to get up early to book though!!!

Started early as usual, got ten rooms on various dates that I wanted all for £12/£12.50 (why the difference) so I,m happy - all I need now is the advance train tickets to go with the rooms!

    Back to bed now:D

  • Well, I'll go back to bed now. I needed two rooms in Lonodn on 25th October and none to be had at even a vaguely cheap rate. It also won't let me widen my search to see if there's any just outside London.

Glad you proved my point that you won`t get a Sat night for the sale rate especially in a city centre as the poster I was replying to was after.

I checked the dates and places I was after in today`s £12 yesterday, and needless to say, that once again, as in the last sale, they were actually higher this morning than yesterday!

Of course there are plenty of £12 and other "good prices" depending on where and when you want to go.

I`ve still got 5 nights to take at the end of this month from the last ever £9 sale.
