How do you know when their sale starts - is it announced on the website? Or do you just see lots of saver rates go up?
thanks :-)0 -

In the past the rooms have appeared on the grid before the home page states £10 sale.

It's Ok - I was trying from 7 o clock and I still haven't been able to book. It's worth keeping trying though - the hotel you want may have those rooms available for some time yet.I would love to be lazy but can't find the time:exclamati0 -
Well as usual, Travelodge have their sale, which as usual brings their servers to a stop. Site is now completly down for maintenance. The ida of a sale is to get a shed full of cash in quick. This system get less income as there are now no sales at all, even at full price for tonight. I would love to know how much income they loose each time. Why they do not have a ballot like the Olympics, draw out say 5K email addresses for the 1st 3 hours, then 5K for the next and so on. Your account will only work at set times.0

I noticed the Bromborough hotel was a tenner a night for 4 nights from August 21st before the whole site crashed.Managed to get one night at Chester for a tenner before the inevitable crash. The laughable thing is that Travelodges new website is useless and they have reverted back to the old one which cant handle the amount of business.I have bookings made on both sites, and none of the bookings made on the first site show up in my account on the second so it gets very confusing keeping track of the bookings i have made0

Not quite a £10 room but managed to get a £15 one for near Watford at the end of the month.
Its a bit further away from my destination than one of there other venues but it was a choice of £30 and no car parking or £15, free parking and an extra £10 min drive. The cheaper rate won, plus the hotel is newer and got better reviews :-)2013 Free Money - £363.44 Topcashback

Travelodge UK is investigating an apparent hacking attack on its customer database.
The hotel chain issued a warning to users of its online service to be on the lookout for spam e-mails.
Full details of the security breach were not immediately available. A spokesperson said it seemed that a limited number of people were affected.
No financial information or payment details were stolen in the attack, according to Travelodge.
