  • Yet again, nothing on anything id buy. I refuse to buy Pantene, not boots fault as previously stated, and whats the bets Inverness wont have Andrew Jose healthy hair, whatever that is anyway? sigh

hope when the January magazine comes out there'll be something useful in it but i wont count my chickens over it.

  • I usually pay for my pay as you go phone calls via my mobile phone.

I think I remember someone topping up their phone at Boots so I was wondering whether it is more beneficial to pay for my T mobile calls at Boots (can this be done?) Would I get Boots points for this? Also would I gain by usingmy cash back credit card?

    Thanks

i always top up my mobile at boots, (especially on triple points weekends!!) Daft not to really. :)
  • ooh yes i ALWAYS do me top-ups @ boots!

points a go go, especially if its one of those lovely things called a triple points weekend although as they had TWO just before Xmas i dont think we'll be seeing those for a while.

whsmith wont dish out points on topping up but boots will, so i wonder who wins there, eh? :)

i dont want a contract phone because then id miss out on the points id get for topping up - cant really justify a contract anyway.

  • dont you have to take out the most expensive contract to get the most amount of points back?

to be honest i am visually impaired and havve yet to find a phone that i can read big enough font to text message with so i only use it to phone the parents say the bus is late or im staying in later or do the parents need thigns from boots *as they dont have advantage cards*? so i dont need a contract, i have over £25 of topup on my PAYG one as it is, and it will take me half the year to use it up

glad to see you back though seaniboy!

ok i was in boots today BUT before i even GOT into boots i met my grandmother who doesnt understand my obsession with boots and doesnt let me *just look and find* or browse, i have to immediately get what i want, pay and get out. i was very annoyed as i wanted to sniff perfume and see what sale bargains they had left, but she was bossing me about. she was in a foul mood as it was *too busy* - if i heard *too busy* once i heard it ten flaming times today. i dont like shopping with her but if i tell her im doing thigns independently she doesnt get the hint follows me about, drives me up the wall. only good thign is that she doesnt have a card EITHER so if she DOES need thigns in boots she cant get elsewhere i get to nick the ad card points but i wasnt prepared to meet her today and yet she ends up lookin for me in town anyway, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

all i got was sanitary things, mini deodorant for travelling, mixed nuts n riisisngs, yoghurt covered raiains, diet coke and water, then went out. not even eleven quid today. so annoyed i thought i could do boots at my own pace and leisture, but the old granny had other ideas.

wont be back in again this year now, which is even worse.
