Yes, this is so true. I have saved so much and spent so much too and yet had amazing fun at the same time!
Shopping at its best...
Anyway, boots.com sale has started and No7 is 3for2 again- yippee! Also, many half price as well as 3for2 and code HFDM48 gets 10% off too on £50 or over order...
course you get points as well although not triple and I personally go via greasypalm adn pay with cashback cc too! ;D0 -
yes, merry xmas and a happy new year to all fellow boots addicts, lol. although i didnt participate in most of the points nonsense on here as they werent for stuff i needed, i got loads of tripled or mailshot points deals so got lots of lovely xmas and birthday pressies with them
next year though the points will be way down, as they still had food @ eastgate up until august, so now that food items are mainly gone @ eastgate, and i cant easily get to retail park much, im going to lose soooooooooooo many points, sob sob, not so much products for technically nothing next yeart, lol.
ps anyone know about me validated code query from yesterday?my advantage_card is like gold dush0 -
Boots had sold out of wrapping paper today!! I've just ralised I need to go back tomorrow to get some essentials that I forgot to get today. Does anyone know what time they usually open. Other half can nurse his hangover with the kids while I escape!!Auntie Savingsgirl 24/9/06 :j0

Might just get there for 08.30 - there is a 24 hr tesco next door anyway. This may be my last Boots visit for some time- it is looking more and more likely that baby will be coming sooner raher than later so I may have my hands full. I am relying on all you Boots tarts to make the most of all the offers as I will return with a vengeance!!
Have a great Christmas everyone and remember those who cant drink;D

savingsgirl, what about buying things online more when baby comes, i know you will have a job getting to the shop.
naughty a_c was @ boots inverness eastgate again today, only because a double points token was going to lapse unless i used it today, lol. was waiting for another decent spend but nobody wants to help me - i buy mum liquid soap then when me backs turend she turfs mine out and puts her own in from tesco, sigh, so i just had to waste in on a pidlly spend full of trough.
managed to find some diet coke though which meant i didnt have to go through the nightmare that would have been the foodhall in marks and sparks.
think that this might be my last boots trip of 2004 but well see. schoolkids only got off last night up here, so HMV was mobbed and im not going back in there till the schools are back, as its too chaotic.my advantage_card is like gold dush0 -
Very disappointing in Boots today. A third off loads of gifts sets - which were 3 for 2 anyway before Xmas. Must think us "Tarts" have just come down on the up train!
Vouchers not much cop either. Just picked up a couple of 50% off items and paid with points.
No 7 not even advertised 50% off and 3 for 2. The assistant was surprised when she put it thru the till.
My advice - check the prices & promos on the web before going into Boots - but me thinks I'm stating the obvious with you guys!
Don't like to see my favourite thread so far down the page
There was a Slendertone Waist thingy - £39.84 - for all those who have eaten too much - I'm not being too righteous - cos I've eaten loads - but I've already got one - better get it out - that is if it can still go round the old waist!!!! ;D0 -

FCUK flipflops £3.75 from £15, bikinins and swimsuits priced from £2.50.0 -
