>:( >:( Come on Boots get your act together!!!!!!!!!!!
Went to Speke store again to find points machine not working. Needed to buy 2 diff products for £19 each. I had £37 of points & waiting to update card in machine as £21.59 in points waiting to go on. I had to purchase 1 product for £19 & then got my hair tongs with my points, when really I should have been able to get both with my points if these machines would have been working.
Was so annoyed when got home I phoned points num & was told if the machine say 'SORRY OUT OF ORDER' in future while your at the till ask for a supervisor/manager, get them to phone while your there to arrange for a technician to come & service machines & they can over-ride on their till to put your missing points on your card.
Sorry for going on, but went back to store just in spite & purchased more Clinique products, asked for manager as wanted to pay with points, went through the whole scenario again which she wasn't impressed but it worked for me, then decided in spite to say I'm sorry but don't think these products will be suitable for granny & walked off. Her face was a picture. ;D ;Dif i had known then what i know now0 -
Joanne, now you've got your points added onto your card, why don't you return the item you paid cash for (under their returns policy) and re-purchase it with yer points?0

I put my card in last night in St Helens and was offered for the traditional range. a 200, 150 and 100 point value of this range the cheapest product was £1.99 and if i had handed in all the vouchers that would have totaled 450 in points thus netting me a profit of £2.50 cash.
Could i be bothered doing it again No. As i did it when the cucumber range was on and i made over £200 and i have a big box of cucumber range which i do use and like. But i do not like the traditional range so i could not be bothered to do all that again. But if a promotion came on like this and i used the stuff i would do it again.0 -

Wish I could get an offer like that, need some points to spend in the sale.
Glad to be back on this thread as the boots hamper one is getting on my nerves. lol
Need to go to boots on xmas eve when the sale starts to see if they have reduced one of the photo printers I want.0 -
hmph i only got offered 100pts on both the traditional and complete skincare lines. i dont use them so i dont need to take them, but i just wish that the coupons would actually be for things i actually need. im not buying toni n guy shampoo again as the frequent use one was pants and they dont have a curly hair one and although Pantene DOES do one for curly hair, I cant buy Pantene due to ethical reasons.
Also why oh why is the total spend coupon only for over seventy five quid plus just now? grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
not fair i want to bumpf up me points as theyve got a bit low now!my advantage_card is like gold dush0 -
had sorted out the end of my xmas pressies, was going to buy my mum some complete skin care products and make a small hamper up and when i got to store the machine was o.o.u, how annoyed as i had on line points to add on as well, but i will try and ask them to do it in store next time, thanks for the adviseADOPT DONT SHOP......🐕🐕🐕🐕0

I went into Boots in Stratford on Avon today. first machine I saw had an "sorry, not in use" sign on it. I took the sign down and the machine was fine, gave me points vouchers. Two other machines there were also out of use; i bet they were working too!0
