Morning, not sure what I am doing today other than the washing up and trying to cook my tea, think the better half is coming down today but if he doesnt then that is fine I know where the priorities lie, and he is hiding something.

Kitchen will be cleaned, I also need to do some meal plans and investigate if I am going to loose money if I rent my spare room out.
Of all the things I have lost I miss my mind the most

    Good morning everyone!
    .

Kids lunches were hm rolls with cheese and cucumber (hooray cucumber is 59p in Lidl!), yoghurt raisins, apple and a bag of hula hoops! xx

I don't knowif you are aware but for Hula Hoops lovers, they are always in Poundland at about 10 or 12 for £1. As they can cost between 40-70p in the shops singly, thats quite a good bargain. They come in all plain or some mixed. I tend to get them as flatmate likes to have them on his butties at the football.

    Hi :D

I've got some music playing on the computer whilst I work so its not too bad. I've joined www.spotify.com which is a LEGAL download site where you can create music folders to listen to. You can't download to a phone or anything but I'm loving it. They've got everything from Mozart to 50 Cent & U2's latest album so plenty of choice :T I noticed it on the 10 o'clock news one day last week so thought I'd give it a whirl. Very MSE as its totally free :rotfl:

    .

Thanks for the tip. Now I can listen to it before I can decide whether or not to buy it from Amazon for £8. Morrisons has it for £6 but we don't have one round here and the cheapest is Tescos at £12.55 as we no longer have a Woolies or a WH Smith that sells music.:j

Morning all btw. Just on here quick before doing some washing and taking a book to the Post Office that I just sold on Green Metropolis.:j

Brekky was LO value Rice pudding
Lunch - LO soup with LO rice in and LO half an M&S ham and honey mustard mayo sandwich
Dinner LO Roast potatoes made into hash with cheese and maybe a fried egg

Truly an OS day for food :D

  • Hi Guys!

Havent read the thread so hope all is ok.

I'm not too well again.....I get sick of saying that and the wet weather isnt helping my joints & muscles. The nurse has been in already, so am abit drowsy.

DW has been on but needs unloading and WM is on atm. Not needed to put wm on for the past 2 days which is good news but looks like I will be using the TD again today:o

Having a Chicken Roast later as it was bought cheap and needs using. Will get OH to peel spuds and sweet spuds to roast for a change. The chicken breast joint comes with mini sausages and stuffing and was reduced to £1....looks delish.

OH managed to get the seeds sowed Sunday, so we are pleased about that. We had another fire last night in the garden burning stuff, so OH got it going and helped me out to sit by it....I love fires and hot choc. It was really nice and was chatting for ages.

Nephew came over Sunday with wife and we had a lovely evening and ordered an Indian which was very tasty although expensive. They bought a lovely bouquet with them and some choccies.

    Anyway, I am rambling.

    Good morning everyone! :hello:

Thank you so much for all of the lovely birthday wishes... I don't even remember saying it was my birthday, so I wasn't expecting it at all and it made me cry to know I have so many friends here :A Thankyou all so much! :grouphug:

Well, the last few days have been pretty tough for me, but I am doing my best to drag myself out of it, and today seems a little better! Thankyou for the PMs some of you sent me too, I was really touched, and I do lurk even though I can't always bring myself to actually post. You're the best xxx

My Dad phoned me this morning to wish me a happy birthday which meant so much, as unfortunately my family do all seem to have a tendancy to forget when it is, my Dad always sends me a card for March 19th instead - my sister, whose birthday is February 19th, always gets her card two weeks early :rotfl: He was rushing off on business somewhere so it was nice to feel important enough to get a call :D

My friend's daughter Danni has her birthday today as well, so we're going to her birthday party from 5 til 6.30 this evening and hopefully I'll get to pretend I'm seven today as well :o. The cheeky little so-and-so phoned me last night to point out that today I'll be exactly four times older than her. Gee, thanks, Danni, hope you have a good day too  I said I'd go and help prepare everything, as my friend isn't very domestic at the best of times and she's in a bit of a flap about having to prepare halal food for some of Danni's friends.

Other than that I haven't really got anything planned, but that's okay. I am sorting out the loft and ebaying lots of things and I am sad enough to find that fun! I've found all sorts of things I had no idea existed, mainly boxes that my mum deposited with us when we finally moved into a house with storage and that I've never got around to searching through. So I'm having a bit of a nostalgia trip, I've just found all my old Enid Blyton books (I liked Malory Towers and St Clares best), all of my primary school scrapbooks, and old pottery projects. Old clothes and CD singles and trinkets I thought had been lost in the fire we had at the first place Dave and I moved into that had actually never moved out with me! It's odd how the silliest thing takes you back, although I don't think even a charity shop would want most of it!

Have a good day everyone, Diva, I am thinking of you and Tristan still xxx
