All these stories puts my own in perspective. Do feel really down at times but know I couldn't do that to my family- even though I do think sometimes they would be better off without me (at least financially). Still haven't heard back from union. I have been thinking about becoming a counsellor- have a degree but wonder what the salary is like and where to train.
Have decluttered some of sky +. Still feeling rubbish (probably man flu) so it really is bad. Will crawl to the kitchen to make a cup of tea and then carry on decluttering stuff. Have to take monsters swimming tonight but won't be joining them. Wifey is off out celebrating a friends birthday so I can vege in front of the tv with goodies if I remember to pick some up !
PHILB120 my husband often says we would be better off without him and he`s holding us all back, I could have better life without him etc... I wouldn`t and couldn`t!! As for counselling look at your local college website as you have a degree you need only do the advanced course a few hours a week for a year and then off to uni for a year one day a week. 148 hours supervised voluntary work and off you go!! Salary is anything from £30.00 to £50.00 per session... usually forty mins depending on where etc. Hugs to youThe Grass may look greenerbut it`s always going to take just as much mowing

Or, Phil, you could join us for a natter. We're allowed to - at weekends!
Have decided not to write letter until after phonecall. Am now taking bets that the phone WILL NOT ring :rotfl: because I have dealt with [strike]idiots[/strike] people like this before.
But the letter will be written and despatched to ombudsman, along with photocopied evidence (ie all statements.)
Now I do know that if you are having problems you are supposed to 'minimise' the damage - ie even though there are problems I have been paying all accounts like a good little customer and not just leaving it because I knew it was all wrong...
can anyone help me out here - am I mitigating the effects of their 'muck up' or have I got the wrong word? I need to tell the ombudsman I have been perfect! It's all them other folk!...
HHC (2:00pm) anyone? I have planning to do and I also have to dust and hoover my bedroom. Gonna start with planning as it will have a psychologically beneficial effect...
Load 3 on line - towels airing in front of window...
ooh I'm with you Holly! Bit late but still...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

YAY!! That means I've completed every day this week for the first time ever!:j:j:j:j
Am now going to sit here with a hot chocolate and read and catch up on last night's Grey's Anatomy. I think I deserve it!
Oh, and forgot to tell you all that I have also dug up an annoying plant that has been there since we moved in the house 9 years ago and planted 2 rhubarb plants from my Grandad's house. Only ever had home grown rhubarb, never had shop bought, so had to carry on the tradition when he died a few weeks ago and keep it growing. So before we handed back the keys for the house we dug it all up. Now my mum, sister and I have all got some. Really felt the need to tell you all that as I don't do gardening!0 -
Good for you Sunny girl :T and hugs for your lossThe Grass may look greener

I'm so sorry to hear the suicide stories. Depression is an awful illness - it makes people who have it believe that they are useless, worthless, will never be out of the emotional pain they are in, and that their friends and families will be better off without them. It sucks away all hope. Please I hope it would help to remember that the depression killed them. Without that, they would not have died. So please don't think badly of them, any more than if they had had a heart attack or some other condition. I hope that thought might bring comfort to the girls.
I've got back from my course on stroke and arthritis. It was very interesting, but I spent most of it wanting to burst into tears. Kept it together tho and am home. Just had lunch and am going to spend the afternoon sleeping and reading my book. Still feel fragile. Feel like I'm going to burst with emotions.
Flying today has consisted of opening the window for 10 mins to let some fresh air in. It's the first time it's been open since September probably!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."
