quote serena: Huge hugs for pigpen's DS1's GF and freedom's DD's friend. I'll light a candle in a minute.

And from me too - I will light one tonight. So much suffering. It's apt that Pigpen put "Ring someone you love just to tell them so!! We never know how long we have with them :(" today. So true - I phoned my Mum this morning as I do whenever I can as I lost my dad only a couple of months ago.

But it's a beautiful day here and had a great declutter of the garage this morning - a whole car load that DH and I took to the tip.

ETA Love the Rhubarb thing too. I'm going to get a cutting of something from Mum's garden as that was one of my Dad's passions

Oh, and forgot to tell you all that I have also dug up an annoying plant that has been there since we moved in the house 9 years ago and planted 2 rhubarb plants from my Grandad's house. Only ever had home grown rhubarb, never had shop bought, so had to carry on the tradition when he died a few weeks ago and keep it growing. So before we handed back the keys for the house we dug it all up. Now my mum, sister and I have all got some. Really felt the need to tell you all that as I don't do gardening!
that's a lovely thing to do and you'll always remember him :grouphug:

Just got letter telling me I didn't get the job, and it has knocked me for 6. Interview went well, and I really wanted the job. After 15 years in Law, it seems I am over-qualified for some positions, or (where "competancy based" questions are used) have limited experience! Limited experience? Overqualified?

Valli, life`s too short to iron... I do a lot of smoothing, stroking and stretching just so I don`t have too... ;) Haven`t ironed for years. Unless it`s essential like a shirt that looks like a screwed up crisp packet!!
